This project is best described in one word: Fun – Oh wait, and bold! This homes mid-century modern construction style was inspiration that married nicely to our clients request to also have a home with a glamorous and lux vibe. We have a long history of working together and the couple was very open to concepts but she had one request: she loved blue, in any and all forms, and wanted it to be used liberally throughout the house. This new-to-them home was an original 1966 ranch in the Calvert area of Lincoln, Nebraska and was begging for a new and more open floor plan to accommodate large family gatherings. The house had been so loved at one time but was tired and showing her age and an allover change in lighting, flooring, moldings as well as development of a new and more open floor plan, lighting and furniture and space planning were on our agenda. This album is a progression room to room of the house and the changes we made. We hope you enjoy it! This was such a fun and rewarding project and In the end, our Musician husband and glamorous wife had their forever dream home nestled in the heart of the city.

The multi-colored tile backsplash was the catalyst for the vinyl tile floor color and the cabinet composition. Square door panels are paired together as swinging doors, lift up or flip up. The inserts are also vinyl tile. An integral Corian bowl and counter top provides a single, unified surface instead of breaking up the visual if a stainless steel sink was used.

This Fowlerville kitchen remodel achieved a complete reconfiguration of the space for a total kitchen design update. By opening up a wall to the dining room we created a larger space with an improved layout, more efficient workflow, and improved storage options. The Medallion Cabinetry in a warm wood finish sets the tone for the design, and is beautifully complemented by Richelieu hardware, a Corian countertop, and porcelain tile backsplash. Behind the cabinet doors sits amazing customized storage solutions including a KitchenAid mixer cabinet and a specialized coffee station. The layout change also involved moving the sink to be positioned under the window, with a Delta faucet and Elkay sink.

Декоративная перегородка между зонами кухни и гостиной выполнена из узких вертикальных деревянных ламелей. Для удешевления монтажа конструкции они крепятся на направляющие по потолку и полу, что делает выбранное решение конструктивно схожим с системой открытых стеллажей, но при этом не оказывает значительного влияния на эстетические характеристики перегородки. 12,6 м2 зоны кухни позволили разместить П-образный кухонный гарнитур, и желание хозяйки иметь под рукой много мест хранения кухонной посуды и прочей утвари было удовлетворено. При такой конфигурации кухни подоконник стал продолжением рабочей поверхности, поэтому мы предусмотрели в нём отверстия для выхода тёплого воздуха от размещённого под окном радиатора отопления.
