Melodie Hayes Photography We completely updated this two-bedroom condo in Midtown Atlanta from outdated to current. We replaced the flooring, cabinetry, countertops, window treatments, and accessories all to exhibit a fresh, modern design while also adding in an innovative showpiece of grey metallic tile in the living room and master bath. This home showcases mostly cool greys but is given warmth through the add touches of burnt orange, navy, brass, and brown. Home located in Midtown Atlanta. This luxury, gourmet Rochon kitchen, with nine foot ceilings, features layers of decorative over-layed moldings and tray ceilings. There is a paneled SubZero refrigerator and freezer. The island and peninsula have oversized whimsical corbels. The extensive storage also has lift legs. a stunning detailed accentuated hood, full overlay stacked raised panel doors with recessed drawer fronts. Recessed drawer fronts with detailed chrome handles. A decorative ceramic square above the double Wolf range and oven, adds a touch of pizazz to the gray subway tile backsplash.

I did the design myself with the help of Lindsey Stillinger of Wedgewood Cabinets. Lights were from http://www.techlighting.com/Products/Fixtures/Linear-Suspension/Surge-Linear-Suspension. The Range, Convection Steam Oven were from Wolf. For sanity's sake I wanted as many things behind closed doors as possible. Coffee maker and blender behind doors. A pull out cutting board next to blender for smoothies. The door to the left includes the microwave and the toaster.

Furniture layout maximizes the open floor plan for entertainment and helps define the use of space. The clean lines of the custom tile design around the fireplace stays inline with the craftsman style with a modern spin. A coffered ceiling with rope lighting installed provides additional lighting options and extra interest to the living space.

The house was completely re-arranged, added to and remodeled with almost every surface being revamped. The addition housed the kitchen, dining room and family room. Two bathrooms, an office, living room, and 2 bedrooms were created. The large deck allows for inside/outside entertaining.

This residence, located in Livingston, New Jersey, has many wonderful features. A very large home with over 6,500 square feet of living space, it has a very open plan but the homeowner is still able to find rooms set off from the openess for privacy. This home has an open floor plan in an L shaped configuration to allow a playroom off the kitchen (for easy monitoring of the kids while prepping for dinner) as well as completely open to a breakfast area and family room for great entertaining opportunities. The dining room, living room and study are smaller and more intimate spaces. The first floor also features a full bath, powder room, large mudroom, three car garage and a two story foyer. The second floor has four bedrooms each having direct acces to a bathroom along with an oversized master bedroom suite that is about 1,500 square feet (you can imagine the size of the closets!). This house continues to provide living space in the basement with a home theater and bar along with an exercise area, craft room, office and recreational space. The exterior features a blend of materials including stone, hardiboard siding, copper roofed bay windows and a covered front porch.
