The Deistel’s had an ultimatum: either completely renovate their home exactly the way they wanted it and stay forever – or move. Like most homes built in that era, the kitchen was semi-dysfunctional. The pantry and appliance placement were inconvenient. The layout of the rooms was not comfortable and did not fit their lifestyle. Before making a decision about moving, they called Amos at ALL Renovation & Design to create a remodeling plan. Amos guided them through two basic questions: “What would their ideal home look like?” And then: “What would it take to make it happen?” To help with the first question, Amos brought in Ambience by Adair as the interior designer for the project. Amos and Adair presented a design that, if acted upon, would transform their entire first floor into their dream space. The plan included a completely new kitchen with an efficient layout. The style of the dining room would change to match the décor of antique family heirlooms which they hoped to finally enjoy. Elegant crown molding would give the office a face-lift. And to cut down cost, they would keep the existing hardwood floors. Amos and Adair presented a clear picture of what it would take to transform the space into a comfortable, functional living area, within the Deistel’s reasonable budget. That way, they could make an informed decision about investing in their current property versus moving. The Deistel’s decided to move ahead with the remodel. The ALL Renovation & Design team got right to work. Gutting the kitchen came first. Then came new painted maple cabinets with glazed cove panels, complemented by the new Arley Bliss Element glass tile backsplash. Armstrong Alterna Mesa engineered stone tiles transformed the kitchen floor. The carpenters creatively painted and trimmed the wainscoting in the dining room to give a flat-panel appearance, matching the style of the heirloom furniture. The end result is a beautiful living space, with a cohesive scheme, that is both restful and practical.

The owners wanted to take advantage of their views, add more natural light, increase storage, and have the kitchen function more efficiently. From dark and feeling closed-in, it was transformed to open, inviting and a place they enjoy every day. All the wall cabinets were removed and a bank of three tall windows were added for more light and ventilation. After a new layout was designed, materials and finishes were selected. The first thing that is noticed when you walk into the room is the wall behind the range. The large expanse is very unique, like a work of natural art. When viewed it can look like waves or patches of clouds. The wall is a full slab of Dekton. The color is inspired by the industrial look of oxidized steel, with shades of grey, brown and black with metallic effects. Mixed woods and stains were used for the cabinets. Storage was maximized, each drawer and cabinet have a function. The island is a perfect landing spot for groceries, meal prep or a buffet. Floating shelves add and open look. The elegant banquette was custom built for the space. It has a slanted back for comfort and with styled legs it keeps it airy and light. The “L” shape optimizes the space and created a natural conversation spot and view of the water. The kitchen has French doors that access an expansive deck, perfect for entertaining. The space was designed for this active couple making it a place to entertain and live everyday with joy.

Our Indianapolis studio designed this new construction home for empty nesters. We completed the interior and exterior design for the 4,500 sq ft home. Glacier White Shaker Cabinetry with brushed nickel hardware, white quartz perimeter countertops, and an elongated grey ceramic tile in an offset pattern sets the stage for the open design floor plan. A grey Herringbone pattern behind the cooktop adds interest to the overall design. Black quartz countertops on the Kitchen Island and dark hardwood floors give contrast to the lighter cabinetry finish and white quartz countertop on the perimeter cabinetry. Дизайн-проект частного загородного дома, общей площадью 120 м2, расположенного в коттеджном поселке «Изумрудные горки» Ленинградской области. Проект разрабатывался в начале 2020 года, основываясь на главном пожелании заказчиков: «Сбежать из городской квартиры». Острой необходимостью стала покупка загородного жилья и обустройство его под функциональное пространство для работы и отдыха вне городской среды. Интерьер должен был быть сдержанным, строгим и в тоже время уютным. Чтобы добиться камерной атмосферы преимущественно были использованы натуральные отделочные материалы темных тонов. Строгие графичные элементы проходят линиями по всем помещения, подчеркивая конструкционные особенности дома и планировку, которая была разработана с учетом всех потребностей каждого из членов семьи и отличается от стандартной планировки, предложенной застройщиком.
