Solid Quartzite Slab Backsplash with geometric pendants and hanging wall sconces set this kitchen apart. Grey stained cabinets with a Sub-Zero fridge that blends right in. The Kallista (Kohler) bridge kitchen faucet centers the long 4-seat island with suede tufted bar stools. The 36" red knobbed Wolf range cement this classic kitchen with a simple dry wall wrapped range hood.

Dans un bâtiment construit au cours des années 50, la commune souhaite rénover le gîte existant. Le chantier commence par une démolition totale de l'aménagement l'existant très dégradé. Une isolation par l'intérieur en matériaux bio sourcé est mise en place répondant aux exigences thermiques actuelles, puis l'aménagement lui même sera de type "montagne et scandinave" tel que le souhaitent les élus, avec une touche contemporaine par un emploi de bois clair. La totalité des équipements électriques, plomberie et chauffage sera remplacé.

Bespoke Kitchen/Diner designed, manufactured and fitted by Alder Interiors. Details: Door Name = Ashton Style Doors (high quality engineered/moisture-resistant boards) Door Colour = Farrow & Ball Railings; Worktops = 30mm Bellagio Quartz worktops & full upstands were used throughout; Island Worktop = Waterfall feature quartz was used on the island; Paneling = Birch ply was used as the feature paneling; Table & Bench seating = Solid oak table & bench with 10mm steel coated in black was used in the dining area. The seating area has additional storage with a matching lighting feature that was made from the same materials.

The client wanted a kitchen that created a warm and cozy feeling where family and friends would feel right at home. She sought a kitchen that was of the highest quality cabinetry and a designer that would really listen to her needs and wants. The Pewter glaze overtones on the cherry wood tie in with the distressed gray island; the Silestone Quartz Soapstone around the perimeter provides a neutral background, while the island has a more dramatic polished granite with cream, rose and brown tones to become a beautiful centerpiece. The cabinets are heavily detailed with beaded sides and backs, inset doors, chamfered corners wherever possible, toe valances and applied mouldings around the entire base to add a rich, handcrafted look. The heights of the cabinets vary to reduce uniformity, adding to the casual charm. An apron front sink also contributes to the country look. The desk is particularly fanciful with it’s mullion doors, French Country open shelves with beaded sides and back, curved and beaded valance and drawer with multiple drawerheads / applied molding. We also incorporated doors that come all the way to the counter to hide the usual home office clutter. The lower part of the desk includes many drawers of various sizes and even a special locking file drawer. The beautiful dark gray island boasts French Country open shelves with arched and beaded valances, a fluting detail on each corner of the cookbook shelves, toe details, lots of beadboard, and a variety of storage options for cooking utensils, pans, and serving dishes. Se trata de una cocina que ya tenía la clienta y de ella aprovechamos los muebles bajos y la encimera que tenía de piedra como soporte. Se liberaron los muebles altos, colocando unos bonitos apliques rústicos Se cambió la campana en oscuro, la nevera y el lavavajillas. La encimera se suplemento su grosor colocandole otra piedra sobre la existente para crear grosor de bancada y se revistió de microcemento el frente de bancada, la encimera y el canto. Aparate se construyo una encimera de microcemento anexa. Los interruptores del frente de bancada se cambiaron todos y se pusieron al tono del microcemento. Después se colocaron unos preciosos taburetes.
