This impeccable bespoke blue fitted kitchen design from our Hartford collection is inspired by original Shaker design. It’s both contemporary and cosy bringing together a host of practical features including clever storage solutions to create a family kitchen that’s perfect for everyday living and entertaining.

Design, plan, supply and install new kitchen. Works included taking the the room back to a complete shell condition. The original Edwardian structural timbers were treated for woodworm, acoustic insulation installed within the ceiling void, wall to the garden lined with thermal insulation. Radiator and position changed. The original internal hinged door was converted to a sliding pocket door to save space and improve access. All the original boiler pipework was exposed and interfered with the work surfaces, this has all been reconfigured and concealed to allow unhindered, clean lines around the work top area, The room is long and narrow and the new wood plank flooring has been laid diagonally to visually widen the room. Walls are painted in a two tone yellow which contrasts with the grey cabinetry, white worksurfaces and woodwork. The Strada handleless cabinets are finished in matte dust grey and finished with a white quartz work surface and upstand New celing, display and undercabinet and plinth lighting complete this bright, very functional and revived room.

A modern telling of the familiar California-Spanish style with contemporary, chic interiors, dramatized by hues of mineral blues, soft whites, and smokey grays. An open floor plan with a clean feel! Curtained by forest-like surroundings and lush landscaping in the community of Rancho Valencia.

This kitchen was very 1980s and the homeowners were ready for a change. As amateur chefs, they had a lot of requests and appliances to accommodate but we were up for the challenge. Taking the kitchen back down to the studs, we began to open up their kitchen while providing them plenty of storage to conceal their bulk storage and many small appliances. Replacing their existing refrigerator with a panel-ready column refrigerator and freezer, helped keep the sleek look of the cabinets without being disrupted by appliances. The vacuum sealer drawer is an integrated part as well, hidden by the matching cabinet drawer front. Even the beverage cooler has a door that matches the cabinetry of the island. The stainless, professional-grade gas range stands out amongst the white cabinets and its brass touches match the cabinet hardware, faucet, pot-filler, and veining through the quartzite. The show-stopper of this kitchen is this amazing book-matched quartzite with its deep blues and brass veining and this incredible sink that was created out of it as well, to continue the continuity of this kitchen. The enormous island is covered with the same stone but with the dark wood, it provides a dramatic flair. The mercury glass pendants, do not distract but complete the look. This gorgeous Shaker kitchen has moulding detail on the Shaker panels on th drawer fronts, adding a traditional touch to the look. We love the softness of the curved ends on the larders as can be seen in this photo. The dark blue island creates great contrast with the grey kitchen units. The island is painted in Hicks Blue and the rest of the cupboards in Slaked Lime Mid - by Little Greene. The client opted for a Rangemaster cooker and a Samsung fridge freezer.

The classic modern design of this kitchen was planned for an active young family of four who uses the space as their central hub for gathering, eating and staying connected. Our goals were to create a beautiful and highly functional kitchen with an emphasis on cabinet organization, heated floors and incorporating a live edge slab countertop. We removed an existing bulky island and replaced it with a new island that while only 60 x 26 in size packs a powerful punch housing a baking center, trash/recycle center, microwave oven and cookbook storage. The island seemed the natural place for the gorgeous live edge slab coupled with vintage mercury glass light pendants that make for a truly stunning kitchen island. Polished carrara quartz perimeter counters pair beautifully with the watery blue-green glass backsplash tile. A message center conveniently located on a side panel of the refrigerator cabinet houses built in mailboxes, a family calendar and magnetic surface to display the children’s artwork. This is a home for a young professional, growing family in Balham. This Modern shaker is in a classic grey with a navy blue island and a matching colour glass splash-back on the hob run. This generous space had enough width for the kitchen run to be on both sides, with a sink on the back wall, parallel to the island. The sink run was completed with a grey mirror splash-back to provide additional depth to the interiors, giving the illusion the kitchen is much larger. An island with seating provided not just an additional preparation area, but also beautifully divided the kitchen from the large dining area at the back. The colour scheme of this Shaker kitchen creates a wonderfully serene space. The island has lots of useful storage space, as well as seating at one end. The extractor canopy with corbels frames the range and provides a nice surround for the blue-tiled splashback. The paint colours used here are Slaked Lime Mid and Hicks Blue by Little Greene. The hardware is by Armac Martin.
