This sophisticated kitchen uses multiple finishes on the cabinetry and countertops to put emphasis on focal points and combine textures. This butler pantry offers plenty of storage and is a great transitional space for staging meals.

Craftsman design components can be seen in the custom lighting, interior stained glass windows, and custom millwork throughout the Cassidy private residence at Lake Keowee. Copper elements are incorporated in various parts of the home: the farmhouse sink and the hood above the hand-made LaCanche enamel range in the kitchen; the custom bar countertop and backsplash; the gorgeous copper tub in the master bath. Three small rooms were demolished to enable a new kitchen and open plan living space to be designed. The kitchen has a drop-down ceiling to delineate the space. A window became french doors to the garden. The former kitchen was re-designed as a mudroom. The laundry had new cabinetry. New flooring throughout. A linen cupboard was opened to become a study nook with dramatic wallpaper. Custom ottoman were designed and upholstered for the drop-down dining and study nook. A family of five now has a fantastically functional open plan kitchen/living space, family study area, and a mudroom for wet weather gear and lots of storage.

Our client was looking for a dramatic look for their favorite room in the house. Our design team rolled up their sleeves and created a loft style kitchen that was inline with the clients industrial vision. We focused on very functional storage so that we could minimize upper cabinets and maximize an exposed, full wall brick backsplash. This was a bold design that the client will love for many years to come.

Walls were removed to open up the previous living room and kitchen areas, creating an open concept with great through views. This new dining/kitchen space has division with the shiplap wrapped columns and ceiling changes. The large area over the island was vaulted and skylights were re-located into this area which changed everything! The custom cabinet concept came from a magazine article that the woman of the house had been admiring. We adjusted the application and came up with a beautiful integration of furniture detailing and crisp white clean lines for the new layout. The full house was gutted and rooms were relocated and made fresh with custom detailing and casual invitation.
