Removed walls dividing the kitchen from the dining room to have an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. Re-purpose existing cabinets and relocated the cabinetry that was on the wall. Painted the cabinets white Replaced all the toe kick Added two piece crown molding to the top of the cabinets. Installed new cabinets to make a catty corner island facing the living room and dining room that included a trashcan pull out. The countertops were replaced with quartz laza. New undermount kitchen sink and faucet New black lime stone backsplash tile installed all the way to the ceiling. Roughed in a new dedicated microwave line to mount the microwave above the stove. Added new recessed lights to the living room and replaced the dining room chandelier with upgraded pendant style lighting.

We maintained the Craftsman style of this kitchen and gave it a contemporary update. Warm walnut cabinets are juxtaposed with white cabinetry and a glossy, black-tiled backsplash. The design highlight here is the dramatic yet refined chandelier. The dining room is a sleek set up with fresh gold upholstery, a wine bar with a shimmery abstract backsplash, and a minimal floating pendant. --- Project designed by Denver, Colorado interior designer Margarita Bravo. This ultra modern white kitchen design was inspired by both the home owners who love cooking and Astro's designer, an expert in the modern style. This collaboration resulted in a super slick, and stunning kitchen that is perfect for someone who enjoys cooking. The open concept is great for hosting and no shortage of counter space here with lots of room to store cook books as well. Who needs a kitchen table when you have two huge islands instead!

This two-story West Ashley home was built with many traditional features like closed spaces, wood paneled-walls, brick fireplaces and dark wood kitchen cabinets, which are all representative of the year it was built. But, it was time to give the new homeowners a space they would enjoy for years to come. The den makeover included removing pocket doors and walls to open up the adjoining rooms. We also wall-mounted the TV, installed canned lights and drywalled the ceiling – removing the dated popcorn – for a more updated look. The biggest transformation was the new view from the den to the kitchen, which received a facelift of its own. With a little interior design help, the kitchen became a beautiful and elegant space equipped with a new kitchen island with granite, white subway tiles for backsplash between the white cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The hanging pendants also added a nice touch. Our favorite feature is the new Butler’s prep area, which has plenty of prep space (and a sink), open shelves, great light from the kitchen window and unique penny rounds in an Ash color for a counter-to-ceiling glamorous look. The new kitchen space was once the ill-conceived location of a guest bath and a closet for the master bedroom. We solved the layout issue by placing the kitchen where the guest bath was and a new guest bath in the former location of the kitchen. This opened the living, dining and kitchen area of the home to create a space that is ideal for entertaining.

Green granite countertops coordinate with the pale green subway tile in the backsplash, which also features a decorative bead board vertical tile and glass mosaic insets.
