Arthouse Architects is a 23 person, Award winning practice with offices in Nelson, Christchurch and Blenheim. Directors Jorgen Andersen and Rachel Dodd, together with a dedicated and experienced team, enjoy working collaboratively to create elegant and timeless solutions for projects of all scales. We’re a creative, collaborative studio of innovative design thinkers. We believe that good design isn’t about us - it’s about our clients. We use our expertise to interpret your brief, develop innovative solutions, and give you all the information you need to make design decisions. We foster a design-led team approach, working alongside our clients and bringing their contractors and consultants into the fold. Working collaboratively with builders, landscape architects, sculptors and artists is integral to what we do. Context and sustainability are fundamental to our design approach, integrating innovative methods of dealing with passive cooling and heating, natural ventilation, daylight management and energy use.
