One of the crucial aspects of the remodel was ensuring that everything had its place. The large kitchen was meticulously organized to provide ample storage space while keeping the country cottage feel intact. Custom-made cabinets and drawers were designed to accommodate her vast collection of dishware, carefully displaying it as if it were a work of art.

This renovation involved expanding the kitchen space into an adjacent office area, creating a side entry, new kitchen layout that worked well for two cooks, professional grade appliances, oversized island with seating on two sides, eat-in area, sitting area and furniture look cabinets with both stained and painted finishes. We enlarged an existing window by creating a boxed bay at the relocated sink and designed a continuous quartzite counter which serves as planting ledge for herbs and flowers. Some of the appliances were integrated into the cabinetry with panels, while others were designed as impact pieces. Custom designed cabinets include a large mantel style chimney hood with vent insert, furniture grade hutch with leaded glass doors, contrasting stained island with seating on two sides, bar with wine refrigerator and deep drawers, and a galley style butler's pantry which provides secondary prep space and ample storage. Details such as shaped cabinet feet, upper glass front cabinets, pull-out trash drawer, spice columns and hidden drawers and storage make this newly designed kitchen space feel luxurious and function perfectly. Traditional materials and forms meld seamlessly with industrial accents and modern amenities. Mixed metals are used in a balanced and dynamic way with warm gold tone cabinet hardware, stainless steel and chrome all working in harmony. This elegant kitchen is the perfect space to prepare a morning coffee or entertain for a dinner party. Updated traditional elements can be seen in the light white modified shaker cabinets, high-arcing faucets, and streamlined appliances. The custom taupe subway backsplash coordinate beautifully with the Taj Mahal counter tops – a stunning quartzite. Polished nickel plumbing fixtures, lighting, and cabinet hardware offer a hint of sparkle. Don’t forget the details seen in the island corbels, X accents in the glass cabinets, and spice/oil pull-outs on either side of the cooktop. Nos clients ont fait l’acquisition de deux biens sur deux étages, et nous ont confié ce projet pour créer un seul cocon chaleureux pour toute la famille. ?‍?‍?‍? Dans l’appartement du bas situé au premier étage, le défi était de créer un espace de vie convivial avec beaucoup de rangements. Nous avons donc agrandi l’entrée sur le palier, créé un escalier avec de nombreux rangements intégrés et un claustra en bois sur mesure servant de garde-corps. Pour prolonger l’espace familial à l’extérieur, une terrasse a également vu le jour. Le salon, entièrement ouvert, fait le lien entre cette terrasse et le reste du séjour. Ce dernier est composé d’un espace repas pouvant accueillir 8 personnes et d’une cuisine ouverte avec un grand plan de travail et de nombreux rangements. A l’étage, on retrouve les chambres ainsi qu’une belle salle de bain que nos clients souhaitaient lumineuse et complète avec douche, baignoire et toilettes. ✨
