A butler's pantry for a cook's dream. Green custom cabinetry houses paneled appliances and storage for all the additional items. White oak floating shelves are topped with brass railings. The backsplash is a Zellige handmade tile in various tones of neutral.

Compost Drawer. The Jack + Mare designed and built this custom kitchen and dining remodel for a family in Portland's Sellwood Westmoreland Neighborhood. The wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed to create an inviting and flowing space with custom details in all directions. The custom maple dining table was locally milled and crafted from a tree that had previously fallen in Portland's Laurelhurst neighborhood; and the built-in L-shaped maple banquette provides unique comfortable seating with drawer storage beneath. The integrated kitchen and dining room has become the social hub of the house – the table can comfortably sit up to 10 people! Being that the kitchen is visible from the dining room, the refrigerator and dishwasher are hidden behind cabinet door fronts that seamlessly tie-in with the surrounding cabinetry creating a warm and inviting space. The end result is a highly functional kitchen for the chef and a comfortable and practical space for family and friends. Details: custom cabinets (designed by The J+M) with shaker door fronts, a baker's pantry, built-in banquette with integrated storage, custom local silver maple table, solid oak flooring to match original 1925 flooring, white ceramic tile backsplash, new lighting plan featuring a Cedar + Moss pendant, all L.E.D. can lights, Carrara marble countertops, new larger windows to bring in more natural light and new trim. An extra sink and open shelving in the beverage area makes for easy clean-ups after cocktails for two or an entire dinner party. The warm contrast of paint and stain finishes makes this cozy kitchen a space that will be the focal point of many happy gatherings. Full kitchen remodel. Main goal = open the space (removed overhead wooden structure). New configuration, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, panel-ready appliances (GE Monogram), farmhouse sink, faucet, oil-rubbed bronze hardware, track and sconce lighting, paint, bar stools, accessories.

For this inset handle shaker-style kitchen in Fulham, we opted for a peninsula instead of an island to maximise on floor space. This layout allowed us to give our clients a generous dining area by the patio doors. We love the combination of the limed oak flooring, Little Greene's Pompeian Ash paint colour, and our burnished brass inset handles. The sleek ceiling extractor above the hob is unassuming, allowing our client to have two superb industrial pendant lights accentuating the peninsula.

This modern and fresh kitchen was created with our client's growing family in mind. By removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, we were able to create a large gathering island to be used for entertaining and daily family use. Its custom green cabinetry provides a casual yet sophisticated vibe to the room, while the large wall of gray cabinetry provides ample space for refrigeration, wine storage and pantry use. We love the play of closed space against open shelving display! Lastly, the kitchen sink is set into a large bay window that overlooks the family yard and outdoor pool.

With its earthy tones and ambient lighting, this kitchen really is a dream. The rich depth from the Copse Green island enhances the cool undertones in the Partridge Grey units. Dropped seating in the island, and contrasting oak worktops create the ultimate social space. It doesn't stop there - another beautiful feature is created by a mantle lined chimney breast which encompasses the hob. Functionality was carefully considered, just as much as the aesthetics. We can't wait to come round for dinner!

Classic British Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex Sage Green cabinetry combines with sparkling accents in this Horsham project, which also involved a structural change. The Brief This Horsham based client sought a structural adjustment to their property and were planning to remove a dividing wall to combine their kitchen and dining room area. The previous kitchen area was compact and dark due to the dividing wall, so they favoured a design that made the most of natural light and a layout that made the new room feel spacious. From early conversations with designer Alistair, the client favoured a green finish with vibrant accents. A new floor was also required as part of the project. Design Elements The finished project makes use of an L shaped layout, complete with a peninsula island, which was a key desirable of the client. A green finish was favoured from the outset, with the client opting for a subtle Sage Green colour. It has been nicely complimented by accents in the form of copper door handles and a metallic gold splashback. Lighting was a key consideration for this project, and the layout makes the most of the natural light pouring in from the rear of the property. Downlights and undercabinet lighting add another level of ambience to this kitchen. Special Inclusions In addition to the new kitchen the client sought to enhance functionality with an array of appliances from Siemens. A Siemens single oven, combination oven, refrigerator, freezer, hob, and extractor have all been specified in this kitchen space. The client also wished to indulge in a wine cabinet, which is a built-in Siemens model. Project Highlight The highlight of this kitchen area is the sparkling sink, splashback and worktop area. The client favoured an integrated sink, which is fabricated of the same quartz finish: Lagoon, as the work surface. A Quooker 100°C boiling water tap is also installed in this kitchen. The End Result This project highlights the amazing capabilities of our complete installation option. Originally two compact and poorly lit rooms have been combined into a light filled kitchen and dining space, with a new kitchen and new Karndean flooring to compliment.
