L'objectif principal de ce projet était de transformer ce 2 pièces en 3 pièces, pour créer une chambre d'enfant. Dans la nouvelle chambre parentale, plus petite, nous avons créé un dressing et un module de rangements sur mesure pour optimiser l'espace. L'espace nuit est délimité par un mur coloré @argilepeinture qui accentue l'ambiance cosy de la chambre. Dans la chambre d'enfant, le parquet en chêne massif @laparquetterienouvelle apporte de la chaleur à cette pièce aux tons clairs. La nouvelle cuisine, tendance et graphique, s'ouvre désormais sur le séjour. Cette grande pièce de vie conviviale accueille un coin bureau et des rangements sur mesure pour répondre aux besoins de nos clients. Quant à la salle d'eau, nous avons choisi des matériaux clairs pour apporter de la lumière à cet espace sans fenêtres. Le résultat : un appartement haussmanien et dans l'air du temps où il fait bon vivre !

High-Tech Nobilia Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex In one of our most forward-thinking projects to date, designer George Harvey has designed a vibrant and technologic kitchen space that incorporates useful innovations for this local Horsham client. Like many who visit our showrooms, this client was blown away with new technologies that can be incorporated into a kitchen space. Eventually this client’s wish of an advanced kitchen space became a reality through clever design and a bit of help from our expert installation team. As with many of our projects this kitchen makes the most of our complete installation service, opting to fill an original doorway and create a new access off the main hall whilst widening the original hall space at the same time. The main run of units features wall units, base units and full-height units to house cooking appliances, storage and sink facilities as well as decorative shelving. A key element of this projected is tailored to the now common work from home option, with a versatile peninsula island vital to the final functioning of this space – the added option of bar seating and a large volume of storage helps to achieve this project brief. The result of this ancillary and building work is a spacious kitchen which flows nicely through to a sunny family room to the rear of the property that functions perfectly for the client. Kitchen Furniture Furniture from our German supplier Nobilia’s Touch range has been used throughout this kitchen and provides a subtle silky texture. Touch furniture uses bevelled corners for a premium feel. The fact that the range itself is available in several colour options has contributed to it being one of our most popular Nobilia kitchen ranges. For this project Touch furniture has been used in the contemporary Satin Grey finish, this neutral colour choice allows accents like the glass bright blue splashback to bring vast vibrancy to the kitchen. Across the main run and island, a huge amount of storage has been incorporated, while a reduced depth sideboard style run enhances storage and worktop space further. The furniture choice has also been based around the key them of this kitchen: technology, with the handless furniture option allowing for ultra-modern LED strip lighting to be integrated in the handle wells on the island and sideboard storage. Kitchen Appliances The appliances used for this project are what really makes such a state-of-the-art kitchen. Appliances like Neff’s Slide & Hide oven are commonplace in many of our installations. This kitchen though makes use of their high-specification N90 model. Incorporating an integrated cleaning system, baking and roast assistant and Home Connect capabilities to allow control through a device or smart speaker. To accompany, a N90 combination microwave also features in this kitchen which also harnesses Home Connect capabilities as well as integrated cleaning. This combination microwave also gives the client a flexible cooking option with the appliances doubling as another oven as required. An undermounted Neff fridge gives extra cold storage in addition to this client’s own appliances. Sitting on the main run is another ultra-modern appliance, a Bora Pure venting hob. This appliance was specified by the client to increase storage space, as due to an integrated ventilation system, no extractor hood is required. Minimalistic design and a low installation height mean this appliance is integrated seamlessly into the worktops with plenty of room for cutlery and pan drawers beneath. The Bora Pure also boasts four oversized cooking zones, that use instant induction power for efficient cooking whilst a low volume extractor removes all odour and steam. Kitchen Accessories To continue the ultra-modern theme of this kitchen, a Quooker Flex boiling tap has been included which includes a pull-out nozzle and for this project a new Cube tank has been included as well. The Quooker Cube tank incorporates refreshing sparkling and filtered chilled water in addition to cold, hot and boiling water – which come as standard with any Quooker tank. The Quooker is set above an undermounted Blanco sink which in itself continues this kitchen aesthetic with a contemporary white finish. To further the futuristic dynamic George has included fantastic lighting, with well-placed LED spotlights underneath wall units and LED strip lighting under handleless rails on the island and sideboard area. This lighting not only continues the theme of the kitchen, with spotlights highlighting the of quartz worktops and vibrant blue splashback on the main run. As part of this installation Karndean flooring has also been installed across the kitchen area, with the Rose Washed Oak finish used throughout the space from the popular Knight Tile range. Our Kitchen Design & Installation Service As with most of our installations this client has taken the opportunity to completely redesign their kitchen using our complete installation service. For this project our installation team moved and created a doorway, as well as undertaking all structural work. The final result is a kitchen that is perfectly equipped for the future thanks to a new flowing layout and innovative kitchen design and appliances. A neat and aesthetic project for this 83 m2 apartment. Blue is honored in all its nuances and in each room. First in the main room: the kitchen. The mix of cobalt blue, golden handles and fittings give it a particularly chic and elegant look. These characteristics are underlined by the countertop and the terrazzo table, light and discreet. In the living room, it becomes more moderate. It is found in furnitures with a petroleum tint. Our customers having objects in pop and varied colors, we worked on a neutral and white wall base to match everything. In the bedroom, blue energizes the space, which has remained fairly minimal. The denim headboard is enough to decorate the room. The wooden night tables bring a touch of warmth to the whole. Finally the bathroom, here the blue is minor and manifests itself in its indigo color at the level of the towel rail. It gives way to this XXL shower cubicle and its almost invisible wall, worthy of luxury hotels.

Photo by Pedro Marti The client’s hired us to update this small post war apartment which didn’t appear to have ever been renovated since the buildings construction in 1964. The kitchen and bathroom were outdated and were fully gutted. In doing so we decided to open up the apartment in general by removing the wall that separated the kitchen from the living space to create a more open plan. The resulting design is an exercise in ultra-minimalism. The rear wall of the kitchen was outfitted with floor to ceiling cabinetry fit with custom satin lacquer doors and minimal white pulls. The custom paneled refrigerator integrates seamlessly within this wall to create a white backdrop for the kitchen. A peninsula was created opposite to give a work surface and to house the sink and range. Starkly contrasting black metal clad doors were chosen for this run of cabinetry. The unique metal doors have integrated pulls that are cut and folded from the metal cladding. The peninsula is topped in a faux concrete quartz surface. New wide plank walnut flooring was laid throughout the kitchen, living, and bedroom to giving the space a look of continuity. Trim was kept to a minimum, removing from all doors and windows and using only where absolutely necessary at the base of the walls. To achieve the look in the monochromatic bathroom, large format grey porcelain tile was laid in a careful grid; white metal floating shelves and the medicine cabinet were installed to precisely align with both the tile grid and the overhead linear LED fixture.

This semi-detached home in Teddington has been significantly remodelled on the ground floor to create a bright living space that opens on to the garden. We were appointed to provide a full architectural and interior design service. Despite being a modern dwelling, the layout of the property was restrictive and tired, with the kitchen particularly feeling cramped and dark. The first step was to address these issues and achieve planning permission for a full-width rear extension. Extending the original kitchen and dining area was central to the brief, creating an ambitiously large family and entertainment space that takes full advantage of the south-facing garden. Creating a deep space presented several challenges. We worked closely with Blue Engineering to resolve the unusual structural plan of the house to provide the open layout. Large glazed openings, including a grand trapezoid skylight, were complimented by light finishes to spread sunlight throughout the living space at all times of the year. The bespoke sliding doors and windows allow the living area to flow onto the outdoor terrace. The timber cladding contributes to the warmth of the terrace, which is lovely for entertaining into the evening. Internally, we opened up the front living room by removing a central fireplace that sub-divided the room, producing a more coherent, intimate family space. We designed a bright, contemporary palette that is complemented by accents of bold colour and natural materials, such as with our bespoke joinery designs for the front living room. The LEICHT kitchen and large porcelain floor tiles solidify the fresh, contemporary feel of the design. High-spec audio-visual services were integrated throughout to accommodate the needs of the family in the future. The first and second floors were redecorated throughout, including a new accessible bathroom. This project is a great example of close collaboration between the whole design and construction team to maximise the potential of a home for its occupants and their modern needs.
