From the playroom window seat on the upper level, children (and adults) can climb onto a play-net suspended over the dining table. The mezzanine library structure hangs from the roof apex with steel structure exposed, a place to relax or work with garden views and light. More on this - the built-in library joinery becomes part of the architecture as a storage wall and transforms into a gorgeous place to work looking out to the trees. There is also a sofa under large skylights to chill and read. The kitchen and dining space has a Z-shaped double height space running through it with a full height pantry storage wall, large window seat and exposed brickwork running from inside to outside. The windows have slim frames and also stack fully for a fully indoor outdoor feel. A holistic retrofit of the house provides a full thermal upgrade and passive stack ventilation throughout. The floor area of the house was doubled from 115m2 to 230m2 as part of the full house refurbishment and extension project. A huge master bathroom is achieved with a freestanding bath, double sink, double shower and fantastic views without being overlooked. The master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe room with its own window. The children's bathroom is fun with under the sea wallpaper as well as a separate shower and eaves bath tub under the skylight making great use of the eaves space. The loft extension makes maximum use of the eaves to create two double bedrooms, an additional single eaves guest room / study and the eaves family bathroom. 5 bedrooms upstairs.

Ultramodern German Kitchen in Cranleigh, Surrey This Cranleigh kitchen makes the most of a bold kitchen theme and our design & supply only fitting option. The Brief This Cranleigh project sought to make use of our design & supply only service, with a design tailored around the sunny extension being built by a contractor at this property. The task for our Horsham based kitchen designer George was to create a design to suit the extension in the works as well as the style and daily habits of these Cranleigh clients. A theme from our Horsham Showroom was a favourable design choice for this project, with adjustments required to fit this space. Design Elements With the core theme of the kitchen all but decided, the layout of the space was a key consideration to ensure the new space would function as required. A clever layout places full-height units along the rear wall of this property with all the key work areas of this kitchen below the three angled windows of the extension. The theme combines dark matt black furniture with ferro bronze accents and a bronze splashback. The handleless profiling throughout is also leant from the display at our Horsham showroom and compliments the ultramodern kitchen theme of black and bronze. To add a further dark element quartz work surfaces have been used in the Vanilla Noir finish from Caesarstone. A nice touch to this project is an in keeping quartz windowsill used above the sink area. Special Inclusions With our completely custom design service, a number of special inclusions have been catered for to add function to the project. A key area of the kitchen where function is added is via the appliances chosen. An array of Neff appliances have been utilised, with high-performance N90 models opted for across a single oven, microwave oven and warming drawer. Elsewhere, full-height fridge and freezers have been integrated behind furniture, with a Neff dishwasher located near to the sink also integrated behind furniture. A popular wine cabinet is fitted within furniture around the island space in this kitchen. Project Highlight The highlight of this project lays within the coordinated design & supply only service provided for this project. Designer George tailored our service to this project, with a professional survey undertaken as soon as the area of the extension was constructed. With any adjustments made, the furniture and appliances were conveniently delivered to site for this client’s builder to install. Our work surface partner then fitted the quartz work surfaces as the final flourish. We are delighted to share this stunning kitchen with you. Often with simple design comes complicated processes. Careful consideration was paid when picking out the material for this project. From the outset we knew the oak had to be vintage and have lots of character and age. This is beautiful balanced with the new and natural rubber forbo doors. This kitchen is up there with our all time favourites. We love a challenge. MATERIALS- Vintage oak drawers / Iron Forbo on valchromat doors / concrete quartz work tops / black valchromat cabinets.
