I initially hired Lisa to help me design a railing for my staircase and catwalk but her visit turned into so much more. I am updating my 34 year old house and also asked for her input. In short order she went through he house and identified key areas to address. She gave me great suggestions which gave me the direction i needed to move forward with my update. She is a joy to work with.

Lisa is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and highly professional. Importantly, she is a careful listener with a warm and engaging personality. We met with Lisa to discuss ideas on remodeling our 1990s-era bathrooms because we were unsure of how to proceed. Lisa was able to present us a new vision, rescaling our plans and saving us a significant amount of money while still achieving our goal of updating the look and enhancing the function of the spaces. The savings on our bathroom remodels will allow us embark on other redecorating projects that we thought were beyond our reach. We are thrilled! Lisa has a warm personality, is super organized and is very knowledgeable and professional. We had been wanting to update the downstairs of our 1990s home but I didn’t have the confidence to tackle this project alone. Lisa assisted us in selecting lighting, paint colors, cabinet colors and countertop, tile, rugs and furniture that would coordinate and update our area. She gave me the confidence I needed to move forward. We will definitely be asking her back to help us update the upstairs area in 2023!

Lisa helped us with the interior details of our new home. The plan included the selection of: lighting, window treatments, fabrics, furniture and paint colors. This was an all-encompassing design plan that integrated existing furnishings with new, complementary design elements. The process required patience and a focus on detail. Lisa worked with our taste while being conscious and respectful of our budget. Lisa has great contacts in the design business that enabled us to source the items needed for the plan. Lisa Stewart was very helpful in assisting in my final selections for my master bathroom and hall bathroom. I laid out all my plans, samples, tiles, etc., and we spent 2 hours finalizing the details. She also suggested LED mirrors and an automated window shade- we agreed with Lisa and love the mirrors and shade.

“Exterior, kitchen, every bath & interior paint colors! Lisa updated our entire traditional home: “exterior, kitchen, every bath & interior paint colors! Neighbors stop to tell me they love the new exterior look. The windows color she suggested was perfect. My kitchen is accessible so I can easily reach things as I age. Most importantly, I have enough drawers for everything. I even have some drawers that I can fill as I buy the latest in kitchenware! :) Lisa suggested things I never would have thought to do. She even showed me how to display my beloved artwork & treasures. My Russian father would have been thrilled to see his antique samovar as the focal point of the kitchen. I love everything!”

The Universal Design enables my client with fragile bones to reach everything in easy to roll out drawers with soft close feature. It will also accommodate a wheelchair if that is needed in the future. They love to cook and entertain so we took the time to analyze their needs. Every detail was planned for them to function effectively here and be able to fully enjoy the space. We eliminated the awkward corner pantry walls and door. The photo below shows the homeowner in front of the new panty cabinet which freed up floor space. The kitchen feels huge now, has more storage than she needs and is easy to access everything! 2020 was difficult on us all but we choose to be thankful each day. My clients are thankful every day!

Lisa assisted us with color consultations for our new home. She was very patient with me and my daughter joined us and appreciated the education she received. We have a much better outcome with Lisa’s guidance and we could not be more pleased. Lisa gave me peace of mind and confidence in the final selections - it is difficult to place a price on that!
