A beautiful in-frame kitchen manufactured by our British supplier Stoneham in there 'Penshurst' range. A solid wood Oak painted door with inner cock beading, really sets this kitchen apart and painted in Farrow & Ball colours. The island is over 4m in length and offers the perfect breakfast bar fro 4 people to enjoy tea and coffee int he mornings. But the real 'wow' factor comes from the tall bank of units, that contain a hidden drink station and bar area behind mirrored pocket doors. With the rich walnut veneer interiors contrasting beautifully with the external door colour. Either side of them are two secret hidden doors, one leading to the utility room and the other leading to the children's playroom. No detail was left un-turned.

Whenever space allows, we like to include a bi-fold dresser in our designs as these offer a practical storage solution for a kitchen. Dressers are perfect as sort of breakfast stations, as the doors fold back fully; the worktop area is perfect for storing a coffee machine and a toaster, with cups and plates above. This contemporary shaker kitchen with our bespoke inset handle is painted in Obsidian Green by Little Greene.

Brunswick Parlour transforms a Victorian cottage into a hard-working, personalised home for a family of four. Our clients loved the character of their Brunswick terrace home, but not its inefficient floor plan and poor year-round thermal control. They didn't need more space, they just needed their space to work harder. The front bedrooms remain largely untouched, retaining their Victorian features and only introducing new cabinetry. Meanwhile, the main bedroom’s previously pokey en suite and wardrobe have been expanded, adorned with custom cabinetry and illuminated via a generous skylight. At the rear of the house, we reimagined the floor plan to establish shared spaces suited to the family’s lifestyle. Flanked by the dining and living rooms, the kitchen has been reoriented into a more efficient layout and features custom cabinetry that uses every available inch. In the dining room, the Swiss Army Knife of utility cabinets unfolds to reveal a laundry, more custom cabinetry, and a craft station with a retractable desk. Beautiful materiality throughout infuses the home with warmth and personality, featuring Blackbutt timber flooring and cabinetry, and selective pops of green and pink tones. The house now works hard in a thermal sense too. Insulation and glazing were updated to best practice standard, and we’ve introduced several temperature control tools. Hydronic heating installed throughout the house is complemented by an evaporative cooling system and operable skylight. The result is a lush, tactile home that increases the effectiveness of every existing inch to enhance daily life for our clients, proving that good design doesn’t need to add space to add value.

We were tasked to bring warmth and elegance into our client’s home and the result is a stunning green Shaker kitchen which manages to combine classic and contemporary elements. The Fitzroy Copse green resonates with the surrounding nature, infusing a calming atmosphere into the heart of the home. The Shaker-style cabinets, featuring antique brass cups and knob handles, add immediate interest to the space. Precision and craftsmanship are at the core of this project. The 12mm compact laminate worktops provide durability and offer a sleek, clean surface. Each detail has been carefully considered, ensuring this kitchen remains a functional and beautiful space for years to come. A kitchen needs to cater to the demands of modern living. That’s why we have integrated Hotpoint appliances seamlessly into this space. From cooking gourmet meals to storing fresh produce, these appliances blend technology with style. The Malmo Click LVT flooring adds the final touch of class to this kitchen space. Its natural wood look complements the green tones of the kitchen, creating a harmonious flow that connects the different elements of the room.

We love bi-fold dressers! They are perfect for hiding small appliances on the worktop level, such as a toaster and a coffee machine, creating a little breakfast station. This inset handle shaker kitchen is painted in Obsidian Green by Little Greene. The handles are unique to Higham Furniture and are made by Armac Martin. The appliances are by Miele, and the worktop is a quartz called SG Calacatta.

The Brief Designer Aron was tasked with creating the most of a wrap-around space in this Brighton property. For the project an on-trend theme was required, with traditional elements to suit the required style of the kitchen area. Every inch of space was to be used to fit all kitchen amenities, with plenty of storage and new flooring to be incorporated as part of the works. Design Elements To match the trendy style of this property, and the Classic theme required by this client, designer Aron has condured a traditional theme of sage green and oak. The sage green finish brings subtle colour to this project, with oak accents used in the window framing, wall unit cabinetry and built-in dresser storage. The layout is cleverly designed to fit the space, whilst including all required elements. Selected appliances were included in the specification of this project, with a reliable Neff Slide & Hide oven, built-in microwave and dishwasher. This client’s own Smeg refrigerator is a nice design element, with an integrated washing machine also fitted behind furniture. Another stylistic element is the vanilla noir quartz work surfaces that have been used in this space. These are manufactured by supplier Caesarstone and add a further allure to this kitchen space. Special Inclusions To add to the theme of the kitchen a number of feature units have been included in the design. Above the oven area an exposed wall unit provides space for cook books, with another special inclusion the furniture that frames the window. To enhance this feature Aron has incorporated downlights into the furniture for ambient light. Throughout these inclusions, highlights of oak add a nice warmth to the kitchen space. Beneath the stairs in this property an enhancement to storage was also incorporated in the form of wine bottle storage and cabinetry. Classic oak flooring has been used throughout the kitchen, outdoor conservatory and hallway. Project Highlight The highlight of this project is the well-designed dresser cabinet that has been custom made to fit this space. Designer Aron has included glass fronted cabinetry, drawer and cupboard storage in this area which adds important storage to this kitchen space. For ambience downlights are fitted into the cabinetry. The End Result The outcome of this project is a great on-trend kitchen that makes the most of every inch of space, yet remaining spacious at the same time. In this project Aron has included fantastic flooring and lighting improvements, whilst also undertaking a bathroom renovation at the property.
