Camilla Molders Design was invited to participate in Como By Design - the first Interior Showhouse in Australia in 18 years. Como by Design saw 24 interior designers temporarily reimagined the interior of the historic Como House in South Yarra for 3 days in October. As a national trust house, the original fabric of the house was to remain intact and returned to the original state after the exhibition. Our design worked along side exisiting some antique pieces such as a mirror, bookshelf, chandelier and the original pink carpet. Add some colour to the walls and furnishings in the room that were all custom designed by Camilla Molders Design including the chairs, rug, screen and desk - made for a cosy and welcoming sitting room. it is a little to sad to think this lovely cosy room only existed for 1 week!

Refreshing this 20 year old medical suite focussed on selecting new wall finishes to complement the carpet and joinery. The existing furniture was a selection of much-loved family heirlooms, which we restored and reupholstered to give a new lease on life. We also came up with a cost-effective solution to refresh the chipped and worn reception counter without needing to completely replace it. It was important to the client for the refurbishment to engender a sense of calm for patients and staff. Colour is a key factor in establishing mood and ambience, and we went for a refined palette featuring emerald, navy blue and tonal neutrals interspersed with natural timber grains and brassy metallic accents. These elements help establish and air of serenity amid the hustle of a busy hospital.

Für offen gestaltete Flächen ist es wichtig Rückzugsräume zu schaffen. Gerade in IT-Unternehmen kann man dabei seinen kreativen Ideen oft völlig freien Lauf lassen. Im gezeigten Beispiel wurde ein 18qm großer, außenliegender Raum in ein fröhliches Florida-Themen-Zimmer verwandelt. Hier kann man die Türe schließen, telefonieren, meeten, Videokonferenzen abhalten oder einfach mal in Ruhe seine Gedanken sammeln.
