Design-Build project included converting an unused formal living room in our client's home into a billiards room complete with a custom bar and humidor.

In this gorgeous Carmel residence, the primary objective for the great room was to achieve a more luminous and airy ambiance by eliminating the prevalent brown tones and refinishing the floors to a natural shade. The kitchen underwent a stunning transformation, featuring white cabinets with stylish navy accents. The overly intricate hood was replaced with a striking two-tone metal hood, complemented by a marble backsplash that created an enchanting focal point. The two islands were redesigned to incorporate a new shape, offering ample seating to accommodate their large family. In the butler's pantry, floating wood shelves were installed to add visual interest, along with a beverage refrigerator. The kitchen nook was transformed into a cozy booth-like atmosphere, with an upholstered bench set against beautiful wainscoting as a backdrop. An oval table was introduced to add a touch of softness. To maintain a cohesive design throughout the home, the living room carried the blue and wood accents, incorporating them into the choice of fabrics, tiles, and shelving. To create the dry bar area that our clients wanted, Progressive Design Build removed the ceiling height drywall built-ins and replaced it with a large entertainment nook and separate dry bar nook. Bringing cohesion to the open living room and kitchen area, the new dry bar was designed using the same materials as the kitchen, which included a large bank of white Dura Supreme cabinets, a Calacutta Clara quartz countertop, and Morel wood-stained floating shelves.

Our clients hired us to completely renovate and furnish their PEI home — and the results were transformative. Inspired by their natural views and love of entertaining, each space in this PEI home is distinctly original yet part of the collective whole. We used color, patterns, and texture to invite personality into every room: the fish scale tile backsplash mosaic in the kitchen, the custom lighting installation in the dining room, the unique wallpapers in the pantry, powder room and mudroom, and the gorgeous natural stone surfaces in the primary bathroom and family room. We also hand-designed several features in every room, from custom furnishings to storage benches and shelving to unique honeycomb-shaped bar shelves in the basement lounge. The result is a home designed for relaxing, gathering, and enjoying the simple life as a couple.

Total first floor renovation in Bridgewater, NJ. This young family added 50% more space and storage to their home without moving. By reorienting rooms and using their existing space more creatively, we were able to achieve all their wishes. This comprehensive 8 month renovation included: 1-removal of a wall between the kitchen and old dining room to double the kitchen space. 2-closure of a window in the family room to reorient the flow and create a 186" long bookcase/storage/tv area with seating now facing the new kitchen. 3-a dry bar 4-a dining area in the kitchen/family room 5-total re-think of the laundry room to get them organized and increase storage/functionality 6-moving the dining room location and office 7-new ledger stone fireplace 8-enlarged opening to new dining room and custom iron handrail and balusters 9-2,000 sf of new 5" plank red oak flooring in classic grey color with color ties on ceiling in family room to match 10-new window in kitchen 11-custom iron hood in kitchen 12-creative use of tile 13-new trim throughout

Wood block countertop against the black matte petite subway tile continues the Scandinavian design style. Black painted plumbing pipe and custom floating shelf that matches cabinets completes the look of this small dry bar.

This bar was created in an unused hallway space. It also provides extra storage for kitchen over flow.

A high-rise living room with a view of Lake Michigan! The blues of the view outside inspired the palette for inside. The new wainscoting wall is clad in a blue/grey paint which provides the backdrop for the modern and clean-lined furnishings.

New white Dura Supreme Highland Panel Plus cabinets were topped with beautiful Calacatta Laza Quartz – with its dramatic movement, milky white background, and soft brown veining. The clients chose a traditional clear mirror backsplash in lieu of tile that matched the dry bar and selected stunning Duverre cabinet hardware in satin nickel, which provided a silvery muted finish and coordinated well with the white cabinets.
