The bar, located off the great room and accessible from the foyer, features a marble tile backsplash, custom bar, and floating shelves. The focal point of the bar is the stunning arched wine storage pass-thru, which draws you in from the front door and frames the window on the far wall.

With four bedrooms, three and a half bathrooms, and a revamped family room, this gut renovation of this three-story Westchester home is all about thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail. With a bar this fabulous in your own basement, who’d want to go out? It features two under counter refrigerators to keep cold beverages handy, a dishwasher so you don’t need to run glassware up and down the stairs, a glass rinsing faucet, and a microwave perfect for movie night popcorn. The navy blue cabinets, Carrara marble, brass hardware, and dark herringbone floors make it feel more like a luxury hotel bar than a basement. A lighted open top section in the wall cabinets displays decorative treasures while a base cabinet cleverly conceals utilities. I loved working on this project for some dear friends, and collaborated with their favorite contractor, Mastr-Jay Renovations, to pull this off.

For this stunning home, our St. Pete studio created a bold, bright, balanced design plan to invoke a sophisticated vibe. Our love for the color blue was included in the carefully planned color scheme of the home. We added a gorgeous blue and white rug in the entryway to create a fabulous first impression. The adjacent living room got soft blue accents creating a cozy ambience. In the formal dining area, we added a beautiful wallpaper with fun prints to complement the stylish furniture. Another lovely wallpaper with fun blue and yellow details creates a cheerful ambience in the breakfast corner near the beautiful kitchen. The bedrooms have a neutral palette creating an elegant and relaxing vibe. The large picture window allows a ton of natural light to pour into the space and brighten up the two-tone cabinetry. With raised panel cabinet doors, the kitchen is traditional and matches the elegant style of this comfortable home. The back of the kitchen has a small dry bar, while the front has a dedicated coffee bar - not to mention the awesome pot filler at the range!

We designed and custom made this bar for our clients as part of their total basement makeover.T he bar has seating for 8, with additional seating for more at the table. This entire area is hidden away from the children's play area behind a bookcase hidden door. We also created the 160-bottle lighted, wine storage unit.

The newly created dry bar sits in the previous kitchen space, which connects the original formal dining room with the addition that is home to the new kitchen. A great spot for entertaining.
