Like its namesake, the beloved Sleeping Beauty, this home embodies family, fantasy and adventure in their truest form. Visions are seldom what they seem, but this home did begin 'Once Upon a Dream'. Welcome, to The Aurora.

Our designers also included a small column of built-in shelving on the side of the cabinetry in the kitchen, facing the dining room, creating the perfect spot for our clients to display decorative trinkets. This little detail adds visual interest to the coffee station while providing our clients with an area they can customize year-round. The glass-front upper cabinets also act as a customizable display case, as we included LED backlighting on the inside – perfect for coffee cups, wine glasses, or decorative glassware. An unfinished basement in a suburban home transforms to house a masculine bar, wine cellar, home theater, spa, fitness room, and kids' playroom. The sophisticated color palette carries into the kids' room, where framed wall panels of chalkboard, metal, and cork bring order while inviting creativity. Ultimately, this project challenged conventional notions of what is possible in a basement in terms of both aesthetic and function.

Old world charm, modern styles and color with this craftsman styled kitchen. Plank parquet wood flooring is porcelain tile throughout the bar, kitchen and laundry areas. Marble mosaic behind the range. Featuring white painted cabinets with 2 islands, one island is the bar with glass cabinetry above, and hanging glasses. On the middle island, a complete large natural pine slab, with lighting pendants over both. Laundry room has a folding counter backed by painted tonque and groove planks, as well as a built in seat with storage on either side. Lots of natural light filters through this beautiful airy space, as the windows reach the white quartzite counters. Project Location: Santa Barbara, California. It has been dubbed the "Scullery Area" and is part Butler's Pantry/Part Wet Par/Part Coffee station. It provides a second sink and dishwasher for clean up after larger family events and the pocket doors and lift doors provide storage at counter level and a way to hide the various countertop appliances that are necessary but not always the most glamorous. The coffee and tea station holds everything you need with easy access to the family room and refrigerator. It promotes a welcoming help yourself as well as self-sufficiency among family, friends and guests.
