Removing the wall between the old kitchen and great room allowed room for two islands, work flow and storage. A beverage center and banquet seating was added to the breakfast nook. The laundry/mud room matches the new kitchen and includes a step in pantry.

This space used to be the existing kitchen. We were able to rearrange the cabinets and add in some new cabinets to create this bar. The front of the curved bar is copper with a patina technique. Two colors of concrete countertops were used for the bar area to pick up on the color of the stacked stone veneer we used as the backsplash. The floating shelves have LED lighting underneath. Custom kitchen with white cabinetry on the perimeter and navy island which matched the navy color of the Butler's pantry here. Dolomite Marble slab countertops - Luca de Luna, these were originally listed as a Quartzite and then changed to a Marble. Luckily, after much testing with red wine, lemon juice and vinegar on the slab sample, the client still loved it and decided to use it. Two walls were taken down to open up the kitchen and to enlarge the dining room by adding the front hallway space to the main area. Powder room and coat closet were relocated from the center of the house to the garage wall. The door to the garage was shifted by 3 feet to extend uninterrupted wall space for kitchen cabinets and to allow for a bigger island.
