Die Liebe zum Meer sollte sich im Konzept wiederfinden. Die Bauherren haben sich mit Begeisterung für Steinteppich entschieden, den ich ihnen vorgestellt habe. Der Bodenbelag ist durchgängig durch das gesamte Erdgeschoss verlegt worden. Bei Steinteppich entfällt ein Fugenbild, wass kleine Räume größer erscheinen lässt. Der Homeoffice-Platz verfügt nun über einen Ausblick und ist besser getrennt vom Wohnbereich. Damit fällt das Abschalten nach getaner Arbeit leichter. Optisch vergrößert wird der Raum durch die Bildtapete, die ebenfalls das geliebte Meerthema wieder aufgreift. Vor den Schreibtisch wird noch ein Raumteiler mit Pflanzen platziert. www.interior-designerin.com

The first thing you notice about this property is the stunning views of the mountains, and our clients wanted to showcase this. We selected pieces that complement and highlight the scenery. Our clients were in love with their brown leather couches, so we knew we wanted to keep them from the beginning. This was the focal point for the selections in the living room, and we were able to create a cohesive, rustic, mountain-chic space. The home office was another critical part of the project as both clients work from home. We repurposed a handmade table that was made by the client’s family and used it as a double-sided desk. We painted the fireplace in a gorgeous green accent to make it pop. Finding the balance between statement pieces and statement views made this project a unique and incredibly rewarding experience. --- Project designed by Miami interior designer Margarita Bravo. For this bespoke, newly built house in Cambridge, we wanted to create a space that was elegant, chic and most importantly practical. We wanted to reflect our clients' love for timeless and luxurious design. The colour palette for this house was kept simple at gold and navy blue to create a sophisticated look with pop up patterns, texture and a quirky accessories. The house is flooded with heaps of natural light thanks to the large windows and bi-fold doors. Sand coloured velvet curtains create a cosy yet classy atmosphere. The statement piece fireplace visually divides the kitchen and dining area from the living room, still keeping the feel of the open plan and spacious living. Arched doorways and marble floors welcome guests into the formal living room in this 1920's home. The hand painted diamond patterned walls were existing when clients moved in. A statement piece console adds drama to this magnificent foyer. Alise O'Brian photography.

Our client for this project is a financier who has a beautiful home in the suburbs but wanted a second home in NYC as he spent 2-4 nights a week in the city. He wanted an upscale pied-à-terre that was soothing, moody, textural, comfortable, and contemporary while also being family-friendly as his college-age children might use it too. The apartment is a new build in Tribeca, and our New York City design studio loved working on this contemporary project. The entryway welcomes you with dark gray, deeply textured wallpaper and statement pieces like the angular mirror and black metal table that are an ode to industrial NYC style. The open kitchen and dining are sleek and flaunt statement metal lights, while the living room features textured contemporary furniture and a stylish bar cart. The bedroom is an oasis of calm and relaxation, with the textured wallpaper playing the design focal point.
