With a soft blend of whites, grays, and Hickory wood throughout the space, the natural light from the windows makes this kitchen glow with warmth. This kitchen is an example of when simplistic elegance is enough. Featuring a custom beverage bar, a charming small desk, a walk-in pantry, as well as an intentional bottom-heavy design with few wall cabinets, this kitchen marries aesthetics and functionality, the familiarity of a farmhouse and the efficiency of a commercial kitchen.

We used a beautiful and earthy sage green on the cabinets, warm wood on the floors, island, floatng shelves, and back of glass cabinets for added warmth.

This project involved converting a dark and dated, exposed log kitchen to something lighter and more functional for a young family. We removed a cramped island and had to max out storage in other ways by adding pull out trash, pantry and utensil stations. Painting the v-groove paneling white and covering the logs with full height tile made the small space much more airy and cheerful.
