A British client requested an 'unfitted' look. Robinson Interiors was called in to help create a space that appeared built up over time, with vintage elements. For this kitchen reclaimed wood was used along with three distinctly different cabinet finishes (Stained Wood, Ivory, and Vintage Green), multiple hardware styles (Black, Bronze and Pewter) and two different backsplash tiles. We even used some freestanding furniture (A vintage French armoire) to give it that European cottage feel. A fantastic 'SubZero 48' Refrigerator, a British Racing Green Aga stove, the super cool Waterstone faucet with farmhouse sink all hep create a quirky, fun, and eclectic space! We also included a few distinctive architectural elements, like the Oculus Window Seat (part of a bump-out addition at one end of the space) and an awesome bronze compass inlaid into the newly installed hardwood floors. This bronze plaque marks a pivotal crosswalk central to the home's floor plan. Finally, the wonderful purple and green color scheme is super fun and definitely makes this kitchen feel like springtime all year round! Masterful use of Pantone's Color of the year, Ultra Violet, keeps this traditional cottage kitchen feeling fresh and updated.

Modern and rustic kitchen. The centerpiece of this kitchen is the custom 6'x6' center island made from barn board. This island accommodates the family's five children as it seats seven people. Dark cabinets frame this large space bringing ones eye to the far wall. The bar is set-off by hand-painted glass tiles that run all the way to the ceiling. The glass bar shelves almost disappear from view.

Homeowners of this rural residence wanted to create a space that fit in with the surrounding country landscape. The shaker style doors, bead board back panel and church pew at the dining table come together to updated country appeal.

The eating nook is created by a built in bench off of the kitchen maintaining the same materials and color scheme.

Originally part of the Woodchester Park Estate, Woodchester Park is famous for its main house, Woodchester Mansion. The Mansion is one of England’s finest examples of an early Arts and Craft and Gothic Revival House and features the work of a number of celebrated 19th Century academics and architects. The house and outbuildings that house the clients studios were originally part of the model home farm. Run-down, asset stripped and sanitised, it was sensitively refurbished with a design that gives a distinct nod to their original use.

A dream farmhouse kitchen with white and stained wood cabinets. This whole house remodel was a complete makeover. To open and reconfigure the space we demolished the kitchen and several small rooms (breakfast, laundry, and powder rooms) behind it and built a small addition. We designed the new kitchen/dining great room so it would be open and connected to the adjacent family room for a more spacious appearance, better light, views, and entertaining. Windows were added along the entire length of the great room to improve natural lighting and to take advantage of the views. Spacious Kitchen Layout that was changed from a peninsula with overhead cabinets to this open design with an island. Using Holiday Kitchens cabinets in Hickory wood, with a darker stain called Village. The Petersburg door with 3" stiles and rails was chosen with slab drawer fronts, in the full overlay style. These cabinets have all plywood construction as well. This photo shows the huge 36" wide pantry, and matching face frame and door over the existing broom closet. Come in and stay awhile!

La cucina esistente in buone condizioni, è stata rinfrescata semplicemente sostituendo il vecchio piano top nero con uno in legno chiaro che prolungato, diventa angolo snack-bar. Perché per un italiano doc, soprattutto se all’estero, avere uno spazio dedicato per gustarsi una buona tazza di caffè non ha prezzo! :) Mensole in metallo sottile intervallano le doghe in legno della parete utili per riporre ed esporre.
