This custom home beautifully blends craftsman, modern farmhouse, and traditional elements together. The Craftsman style is evident in the exterior siding, gable roof, and columns. The interior has both farmhouse touches (barn doors) and transitional (lighting and colors).

Sometimes, there are moments in the remodeling experience that words cannot fully explain how amazing it can be. This home in Quincy, MA 02169 is one of those moments for our team. This now stunning colonial underwent one of the biggest transformations of the year. Previously, the home held its original cedar clapboards that since 1960 have rotted, cracked, peeled, and was an eyesore for the homeowners. This beautiful dutch colonial style home showcases the Quarry Mill's Avondale natural thin stone veneer. Avondale is a colorful blend of real thin cut limestone veneer. This natural stone is unique in that the pieces of stone showcase a large color variation but all come from the same quarry. Avondale’s unique color variation comes from using different parts of the quarried slabs of natural stone. The quarry is naturally layered and the stone slabs or sheets are peeled up by pushing a wedge between the layers. The sheets vary in size with the largest being roughly 12’x2’ with a thickness ranging from 1”-12”. The outer portion of the sheets of stone are colorful due to the rainwater washing in minerals over millennia. The interior portion is the grey unadulterated limestone. We use hydraulic presses to process the slabs and expose the inner part of the limestone.

Originally, they found Atlanta Curb Appeal because we had already worked on several homes in their East Cobb Chimney Springs neighborhood. At first, this project started out as a simple add-on. The homeowner wanted a master bedroom built above the garage, but as the homeowner started talking about options with us, they decided to go even bigger. Great ideas just kept piling up! When all was said and done, they decided to also update the exterior of the house and refresh the kids’ bathrooms.

Richmond Hill Design + Build brings you this gorgeous American four-square home, crowned with a charming, black metal roof in Richmond’s historic Ginter Park neighborhood! Ridge vent detail on this new architectural asphalt roof installation on an historic North Branford, Connecticut residence. The main home features a box gable roof, which connects under a shed roof at the rear of the home to an open gable garage with the same roof proportions. After removing the previous roof down to the decking, we covered this roof with a continuous CertainTeed ice and water underlayment membrane. We then installed 3,000 square feet of CertainTeed Landmark architectural asphalt shingles in Charcoal Black. The job was topped off with a ridge vent on the primary residence and copper protrusion flashing.

We commission this exterior work restoration to do bespoke repair on the rotten and decay elements. We fully replaced and glue new hard wood on epoxy resin to make this last.
