With this home remodel, we removed the roof and added a full story with dormers above the existing two story home we had previously remodeled (kitchen, backyard extension, basement rework and all new windows.) All previously remodeled surfaces (and existing trees!) were carefully preserved despite the extensive work; original historic cedar shingling was extended, keeping the original craftsman feel of the home. This new three story Nantucket style home on the prestigious Margate Parkway was crafted to ensure daylong sunshine on their pool. The in ground pool was elevated to the first floor level and placed in the front of the house. The front deck has plenty of privacy due to the extensive landscaping, the trellis and it being located 6 feet above the sidewalk. The house was designed to surround and open up to the other two sides of the pool. Two room sized covered porches provide lots of shaded areas while a full gourmet outdoor kitchen and bar provides additional outdoor entertaining areas.

This traditional bungalow has been restored to keep it's old fashioned elegance outside while the inside has been updated to a sleek modern design.

A Washington State homeowner selected Steelscape’s Eternal Collection® Urban Slate to uplift the style of their home with a stunning new roof. Built in 1993, this home featured an original teal roof with outdated, inferior paint technology. The striking new roof features Steelscape’s Urban Slate on a classic standing seam profile. In order to gain more natural light in the basement and provide emergency egress, we constructed light wells with fixed ladder and lightweight removable aluminum grating. The insides of the light wells are faced with rock and are illuminated at night.

This lake home remodeling project involved significant renovations to both the interior and exterior of the property. One of the major changes on the exterior was the removal of a glass roof and the installation of steel beams, which added structural support to the building and allowed for the creation of a new upper-level patio. The lower-level patio also received a complete overhaul, including the addition of a new pavilion, stamped concrete, and a putting green. The exterior of the home was also completely repainted and received extensive updates to the hardscaping and landscaping. Inside, the home was completely updated with a new kitchen, a remodeled upper-level sunroom, a new upper-level fireplace, a new lower-level wet bar, and updated bathrooms, paint, and lighting. These renovations all combined to turn the home into the homeowner's dream lake home, complete with all the features and amenities they desired.
