This sprawling ranch features a family-friendly floor plan with a rear located garage. The board-and-batten siding is complemented by stone, metal roof accents, and a gable bracket while a wide porch hugs the front facade. A fireplace and coffered ceiling enhance the great room and a rear porch with skylights extends living outdoors. The kitchen enjoys an island, and a sun tunnel above filters in daylight. Nearby, a butler's pantry and walk-in pantry provide convenience and a spacious dining room welcomes family meals. The master suite is luxurious with a tray ceiling, fireplace, and a walk-in closet. In the master bathroom, find a double vanity, walk-in shower, and freestanding bathtub with built-in shelves on either side. An office/bedroom meets the needs of the homeowner while two additional bedrooms are across the floor plan with a shared full bathroom. Extra amenities include a powder room, drop zone, and a large utility room with laundry sink. Upstairs, an optional bonus room and bedroom suite offer expansion opportunities.

Featuring eye-catching forward-facing contemporary garage doors, this home makes the most of it's location in all the right ways. A center tower with clerestory windows elevates the whole design, and the sleek front entry tower invite you to come inside. Exterior materials: painted brick, manufactured stone, cedar siding, architectural composite shingles.

This project for a builder husband and interior-designer wife involved adding onto and restoring the luster of a c. 1883 Carpenter Gothic cottage in Barrington that they had occupied for years while raising their two sons. They were ready to ditch their small tacked-on kitchen that was mostly isolated from the rest of the house, views/daylight, as well as the yard, and replace it with something more generous, brighter, and more open that would improve flow inside and out. They were also eager for a better mudroom, new first-floor 3/4 bath, new basement stair, and a new second-floor master suite above. The design challenge was to conceive of an addition and renovations that would be in balanced conversation with the original house without dwarfing or competing with it. The new cross-gable addition echoes the original house form, at a somewhat smaller scale and with a simplified more contemporary exterior treatment that is sympathetic to the old house but clearly differentiated from it. Renovations included the removal of replacement vinyl windows by others and the installation of new Pella black clad windows in the original house, a new dormer in one of the son’s bedrooms, and in the addition. At the first-floor interior intersection between the existing house and the addition, two new large openings enhance flow and access to daylight/view and are outfitted with pairs of salvaged oversized clear-finished wooden barn-slider doors that lend character and visual warmth. A new exterior deck off the kitchen addition leads to a new enlarged backyard patio that is also accessible from the new full basement directly below the addition. Our latest roof replacement in Longmont. This roof was replaced due to old age. The homeowner chose CertainTeed Northgate Class IV Impact Resistant asphalt shingles in the color Georgetown Gray. She now gets a discount on her insurance premium for having Class IV Shingles. We also did a little gutter work for this homeowner, moving a downspout and adding two extensions to downspouts that did not have them so that water will now flow away from the foundation.

Ocean Bank is a contemporary style oceanfront home located in Chemainus, BC. We broke ground on this home in March 2021. Situated on a sloped lot, Ocean Bank includes 3,086 sq.ft. of finished space over two floors. The main floor features 11′ ceilings throughout. However, the ceiling vaults to 16′ in the Great Room. Large doors and windows take in the amazing ocean view. The Kitchen in this custom home is truly a beautiful work of art. The 10′ island is topped with beautiful marble from Vancouver Island. A panel fridge and matching freezer, a large butler’s pantry, and Wolf range are other desirable features of this Kitchen. Also on the main floor, the double-sided gas fireplace that separates the Living and Dining Rooms is lined with gorgeous tile slabs. The glass and steel stairwell railings were custom made on site.
