On this project, Gallery KBNY undertook one of our biggest home renovations to date. The project was a complete overhaul and gut renovation of a Brooklyn brownstone, standing four-stories in the heart of Bed-Stuy, that involved touching every square inch of the entire space. The owner of this property, a real estate developer who was looking for an all-inclusive firm to handle the entire process, hired Gallery and tasked us with creating an owner’s quadplex with a separate garden studio apartment as a rental unit.

At this front exterior, I had to burn all external coating from the ladders due to paint failure. New paint and coating were applied by brush and roll in the white gloss system.

Project Overview: This project is a vacation home for a family to enjoy the beauty of Swauk Prairie in Hidden Valley near Cle Elum, Kittitas County, Washington. It was a highly collaborative project between the owners, Syndicate Smith (Steve Booher lead), Mandy Callaway, and Merle Inc. The Pika-Pika exterior scope was pre-treated with a fire retardant for good measure due to being located in a high-fire zone on the east side of the Cascade mountain range, about 90 minutes east of Seattle.

Full house refurbishment with rear extension for rental purposes, boasting new kitchen with build-in appliances, entirely renovated bathrooms, fully refurbished bedrooms and communal areas including rear patio and front drive way. This project consisted of a renovation and alteration of a Queen Anne home designed and built in 1897 by Manhattan Architect, and former Weehawken mayor, Emile W. Grauert. While most of the windows were Integrity® Wood-Ultrex® replacement windows in the original openings, there were a few opportunities for enlargement and modernization. The original punched openings at the curved parlor were replaced with new, enlarged wood patio doors from Integrity. In the mayor's office, the original upper sashes of the stained glass was retained and new Integrity Casement Windows were installed inside for improved thermal and weather performance. Also, a new sliding glass unit and transom were installed to create a seamless interior to exterior transition between the kitchen and new deck at the rear of the property. Finally, clad sliding patio doors and gliding windows transformed a previously dark basement into an airy entertainment space.

The remodelling and extension of a terraced Victorian house in west London. The extension was achieved by using Permitted Development Rights after the previous owner had failed to gain planning consent for a smaller extension. The house was extended at both ground and roof levels.
