We have worked on many buildings with both residential and commercial components. Downtown Savannah has many historic buildings that are mixed use and we follow standards of historic preservation to ensure that we paint and preserve these structures the best way possible for the future.

These modern condo buildings overlook downtown Minneapolis and are stunningly placed on a narrow lot that used to use one low rambler home. Each building has 2 condos, all with beautiful views. The main levels feel like you living in the trees and the upper levels have beautiful views of the skyline. The buildings are a combination of metal and stucco. The heated driveway carries you down between the buildings to the garages beneath the units. Each unit has a separate entrance and has been customized entirely by each client.

Nagold 2012 für haefele Die großen, bislang ungenutzten Flachdächer mitten in den Städten zu erschließen, ist der Grundgedanke, auf dem die Idee des Loftcube basiert. Der Berliner Designer Werner Aisslinger will mit leichten, mobilen Wohneinheiten diesen neuen, sonnigen Lebensraum im großen Stil eröffnen und vermarkten. Nach zweijährigen Vorarbeiten präsentierten die Planer im Jahr 2003 den Prototypen ihrer modularen Wohneinheiten auf dem Flachdach des Universal Music Gebäudes in Berlin. Der Loftcube besteht aus einem Tragwerk mit aufgesteckten Fassadenelementen und einem variablen inneren Ausbausystem. Schneller als ein ein Fertighaus ist er innerhalb von 2-3 Tagen inklusive Innenausbau komplett aufgestellt. Zudem lässt sich der Loftcube in der gleichen Zeit auch wieder abbauen und an einen anderen Ort transportieren. Der Loftcube bietet bei Innenabmessungen von 6,25 x 6,25 m etwa 39 m2 Wohnfläche. Die nächst größere Einheit bietet bei rechteckigem Grundriss eine Raumgröße von 55 m2. Ausgehend von diesen Grundmodulen können - durch Brücken miteinander verbundener Einzelelemente - ganze Wohnlandschaften errichtet werden. Je nach Anforderung kann so die Wohnfläche im Laufe der Zeit den Bedürfnissen der Nutzer immer wieder angepasst werden. This project is a remodel of and extension to a modest suburban semi detached property. The scheme involved a complete remodel of the existing building, integrating existing spaces with the newly created spaces for living, dining and cooking. A keen cook, an important aspect of the brief was to incorporate a substantial back kitchen to service the main kitchen for entertaining during larger gatherings. Keen to express a clear distinction between the old and the new, with a fondness of industrial details, the client embraced the proposal to expose structural elements and keep to a minimal material palette. Initially daunted by the prospect of substantial home improvement works, yet faced with the dilemma of being unable to find a property that met their needs in a locality in which they wanted to continue to live, Group D's management of the project has enabled the client to remain in an area they love in a home that serves their needs.

This black stained timber box was designed as an extension to an existing pebble dash dwelling in Harrow. The house is in a conservation area and our proposal compliments the existing dwelling through a contrasting but neutral dark finish. The planning department responded well to our approach which took inspiration from the highly wooded gardens surrounding the dwelling. The dark and textured stained larch provides a sensitive addition to the saturated pebble dash and provides the contemporary addition the client was seeking. Hit and miss timber cladding breaks the black planes and provides solar shading to the South Facing glass, as well as enhanced privacy levels. The interior was completely refurbished as part of the works to create a completely open plan arrangement at ground floor level. A 2 metre wide sliding wall was included to offer separation between the living room and the open plan kitchen if so desired. Darryl Snow Photography
