Double fronted Victorian Villa, original fascia and front door all renovated and refurbished. The front door is painted to match the cloakroom and the replacement Victorian tiles flow all the way through the ground floor hallway.

Located in the Surrey countryside is this classically styled orangery. Belonging to a client who sought our advice on how they can create an elegant living space, connected to the kitchen. The perfect room for informal entertaining, listen and play music, or read a book and enjoy a peaceful weekend. Previously the home wasn’t very generous on available living space and the flow between rooms was less than ideal; A single lounge to the south side of the property that was a short walk from the kitchen, located on the opposite side of the home.

Incorporated both French doors and Dutch doors, aiming to enhance the indoor-outdoor connection. The addition of custom decks and stairs from the bedroom to the laundry space and backyard suggests a functional and aesthetic upgrade to the outdoor spaces. The introduction of a custom brick step from the main bedroom french doors leads you to the outside seating area and shower that brings a rustic and coastal charming touch to the space. This not only improves accessibility but also creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Ginger's attention to detail is evident through the custom-designed copper light-up address signs. These signs not only serve a practical purpose but also add a distinctive and stylish element to the home's exterior. Similarly, the custom black iron lights guiding the pathways around the home contribute to the overall ambiance while providing safety and visibility. A traditional style home brought into the new century with modern touches. the space between the kitchen/dining room and living room were opened up to create a great room for a family to spend time together rather it be to set up for a party or the kids working on homework while dinner is being made. All 3.5 bathrooms were updated with a new floorplan in the master with a freestanding up and creating a large walk-in shower.

To ensure that these new additions would sit comfortably against the house and maintain continuity, we carried the architectural entablature across the entire west elevation. Blending them seamlessly into the property and completely modernising the rear of the home. The original extruded brickwork detailing that ran the length of the building, was also included in the brickwork of the new orangery. For further continuity, we replaced the lower portions of downpipes with our hoppers and downpipes finished in the same Upton White of the timber framework.
