Our custom mudroom with this perfectly sized dog crate was created for the Homeowner's specific lifestyle, professionals who work all day, but love running and being in the outdoors during the off-hours. Closed pantry storage allows for a clean and classic look while holding everything needed for skiing, biking, running, and field hockey. Even Gus approves!

Created for a second-time homebuyer, DreamDesign 38 is a cottage-style home designed to fit within the historic district of Ortega. While the exterior blends in with the existing neighborhood, the interior is open, contemporary and well-finished. Wood and marble floors, a beautiful kitchen and large lanai create beautiful spaces for living. Four bedrooms and two and half baths fill this 2772 SF home.

The island is a dark charcoal with cool undertones that coordinates with the cabinetry and transom work in both the neighboring mudroom and breakfast area. White subway tile, quartz countertops, white enamel pendants and gold fixtures complete the update. The ends of the island are shiplap material that is also used on the fireplace in the next room. In the new mudroom, we used a fun porcelain tile on the floor to get a pop of pattern, and walnut accents add some warmth. Each child has their own cubby, and there is a spot for shoes below a long bench. Open shelving with spots for baskets provides additional storage for the room. Added cabinetry for each of the family members and created areas above for added storage. Patterned porcelain tiles were selected to add warmth and a traditional touch that blended well with the wood floor.
