Karen is an expert at bringing light into a property. She can transform family home by creating a pleasing, comfortable flow where before a property was difficult to live in.

We bought our house in October 2018 and realised it needed a total refurbishment and extension instead of decorating room by room. An architect was needed and Karen Parry had worked on similar projects locally so we appointed her firm. She was really good at listening to our needs, developing several options and kept to a programme which aimed at completion in October 2019. We were impressed by the quality of drawings and submissions for planning/building control - and getting a builder lined up with whom she had worked. before. They were very good : any problems were resolved without delay and we moved in at the end of November. We are delighted with the completed work - her team was most attentive to our requirements and we would have no hesitation in recommending her firm.

We worked with Karen Parry Architect on a beautiful project on the shores of Loch Lomond. We work hand in hand together right from the very start of the project. There attention to detail and constant communication is second to none. We can't wait to work together again in the future.

Our experience of Karen and her team was first class. Great design options delivered on time or early and always there to step in to help out during the build. Karen was recommended by two friends who had used her before and both clients were delighted with the end results. What appealed to us amoung other things was the fact her team is fairly small ensuring a personal touch. Karen worked with us in 2017 to do a large renovation project that included relocating a kitchen and redesigning 2 further rooms and a bathroom. Karen is easy to work with, practical, creative and no-nonsense. Karen designed our single storey extension and project managed the build. She sourced our builders who produced a first class finish that we continue to enjoy. Our experience of working with Karen was entirely positive. She took us through the whole process from early ideas, concept designs to obtaining our building certificate. She made the process painless for us and was very professional throughout. I would, and have, recommended that she be used for the excellent service she provides.

We found Karen to be the consummate professional. From our first contact to the last she provided an expert service which made our extension project run very smoothly, on time and on budget. Following a personal visit to establish her clients input and thoughts she provided provisional plans very quickly. The plans captured everything we had asked for and required very minimal alterations. It was clear that she had an extensive knowledge and experience in this kind of project. Karen managed to produce expert detailed plans which passed through the planning process without a hitch. She managed the building warrant application on our behalf and again this was completed in with minimum fuss. Our builder remarked on the quality and detail in Karen's drawings and plans which made his job far easier and resulted in the project being delivered on time and on budget. During the build, Karen carried out site visits to determine how the build was progressing and held discussions with the builder which meant any snags or problems were sorted on sight. Following completion of the build Karen made a follow up visit to inspect the finished extension and offer advice and assistance as required. Over all she provided an expert service which I would highly recommend to anybody interested in undertaking a build project

Karen designed a substantial rebuilding of our house. The end result was stunning. Throughout, Karen was highly creative and responsive to our requirements, and very approachable and pleasant to work with. She has a great instinct for creating a wow factor while providing practical family spaces. Karen also volunteered to cut her fee because the project management was less complex than anticipated. I would unreservedly recommend Karen's architectural services.

We chose Karen because we liked photos of her work on her website. From the outset, Karen Parry was professional in every aspect of her work. She was utterly reliable, punctual and trustworthy. She listened well to our wish list as well as adding her own creative ideas and provided three alternative designs for a kitchen extension and new kitchen. After recommending three different builders who each gave us independent quotes she project managed the build for us. This she did very capably, steering us through each stage and fielding our questions and concerns to make the whole process as smooth as possible. Karen was an absolutely fantastic architect and project manager for our bungalow extension. From the first time I phoned her for some advice prior to buying our property through the design, planning and building warrants phase and then the build itself she was utterly invaluable. Whilst taking heed of our wishes she designed a fantastic family home that catered to all our needs. She coaxed us through a process that was daunting and made it seem relatively effortless.
