Hood Wall, left - you can see the handcrafted Subway Tile merging with the Diamond Tiles. This project was inspired by a fusion of: contemporary elements, farmhouse warmth, geometric design & overall convenience. The style is eclectic as a result. Our clients wanted something unique to them and a reflection of their style to greet them each day. Full of intricate details that set it apart from the crowd, elements of this design delight and inspire you wherever you look in the room. Rich walnut is the perfect choice of timber for the statement island in this design, as it adds a sense of exclusivity and intensity that’s perfect for an island of this size. Painted panels add an interesting, eye catching element to the island and helps to keep everything feeling fresh and different. The owners wanted a space to entertain family and friends- cook, eat, and socialise together. So Naked Kitchens designed a kitchen that was perfect for this. The cool, patterned floor feels natural and contrasts perfectly with the rich walnut timber and cool, neutral cabinetry. The classic shaker cabinets are perfect in this property, they are simple and sophisticated and sit perfectly alongside the elegant marble. A corner of the room is designated as a coffee making station- what a wonderful room to entertain in and come down to breakfast to every morning. The beauty of a Naked Kitchen is that it is entirely bespoke, and you can have exactly what you want. This kitchen proves small East sac bungalows can have high function and all the storage of a larger kitchen. A large peninsula overlooks the dining and living room for an open concept. A lower countertop areas gives prep surface for baking and use of small appliances. Geometric hexite tiles by fireclay are finished with pale blue grout, which complements the upper cabinets. The same hexite pattern was recreated by a local artist on the refrigerator panes. A textured striped linen fabric by Ralph Lauren was selected for the interior clerestory windows of the wall cabinets. Large plank french oak flooring ties the whole home together. A custom Nar designed walnut dining table was crafted to be perfectly sized for the dining room. Eclectic furnishings with leather, steel, brass, and linen textures bring contemporary living to this classic bungalow. A reclaimed piano string board was repurposed as a large format coffee table. Every square inch of this home was optimized with storage including the custom dresser hutch with vanity counter. This petite bath is finished with caviar painted walls, walnut cabinetry, and a retro globe light bar. We think all splashes should have a swoop! The mitered countertop ledge is the clients’ favorite feature of this bath.

This might be a small kitchen but it has a big attitude. It boasts ample drawer storage in the base cabinets topped by a surprising amount of bench space. The L-shape / Galley style makes the most of the 1.9x3.7m floor space. Despite it's size, theres room for two to work in the kitchen. A combination of Meteca Woodgrain panels and Trendstone benches provide cost effective, durable finishes. Luna subway tiles, recycled Matai shelves on metal pipe brackets extend the textural themeof the overall design. To keep the noise down when cooking, we installed a Sirius rangehood with an efficient but (almost) silent exterior mounted motor.

This bespoke family kitchen was part of the renovation of a period home in Frome. The ground floor is a half basement and struggled with dark rooms and a layout that did not function well for family life. New windows were added to the adjoining dining room and crisp white finishes and clever lighting have transformed the space. Bespoke cabinets maximised the limited head height and corner space. Designed in a classic shaker style and painted in Hopper by Little Greene with classic burnished brass ironmongery, it is a timeless design.

This tiny kitchen got the makeover of a lifetime. From dated 70's red and brown to light and bright black and white (plus some turquoise thrown in). On the homeowners wish list was shiplap. We installed it on the outside wall and the entry for extra texture. We took this kitchen down to the studs so that we could start fresh. Included in the remodel was enclosing the equally tiny back porch which gives better access into the kitchen from the back deck.

The true success behind this kitchen is the design and the way each detail flows with another. There are five different finishes with five different materials, yet all these elements combine in such harmony that entering the room is like walking into a work of art. Design details were incorporated to bridge the gap between the traditional nature of the building with the more contemporary functionality of a working kitchen. The Sub Zero & Wolf appliances, whilst not only fabulous in purpose, look sensational. The Solid American black walnut worktops of the island remind you of the beautiful natural materials that play a big part in this kitchen. Mesh centrepieces to the shaker doors demonstrate the transition between classic and contemporary.
