This kitchen proves small East sac bungalows can have high function and all the storage of a larger kitchen. A large peninsula overlooks the dining and living room for an open concept. A lower countertop areas gives prep surface for baking and use of small appliances. Geometric hexite tiles by fireclay are finished with pale blue grout, which complements the upper cabinets. The same hexite pattern was recreated by a local artist on the refrigerator panes. A textured striped linen fabric by Ralph Lauren was selected for the interior clerestory windows of the wall cabinets. Large plank french oak flooring ties the whole home together. A custom Nar designed walnut dining table was crafted to be perfectly sized for the dining room. Eclectic furnishings with leather, steel, brass, and linen textures bring contemporary living to this classic bungalow. A reclaimed piano string board was repurposed as a large format coffee table. Every square inch of this home was optimized with storage including the custom dresser hutch with vanity counter. This petite bath is finished with caviar painted walls, walnut cabinetry, and a retro globe light bar. We think all splashes should have a swoop! The mitered countertop ledge is the clients’ favorite feature of this bath.

this fun and cozy kitchen is charming yet practical. pigeon blue cabinets offset the wooden details and natural wood flooring perfectly. ample window space provides natural light and extra space for herbs and utensils. the modern, stainless steel appliances boast functionality but do not take away from a charming urban cottage kitchen. a fun project for a quirky homeowner.

floating shelves and tiled accents leave hobby chefs with nothing to be desired. this clean concept allows for easy tidying and organizing, without appearing sterile. a warm and inviting space which fits the style of this urban cottage perfectly.

We added some modern bar stools to tie the traditional island in with the more modern cabinetry. New Backsplash was applied and a new grey blue paint color to make the cabinets and architectural details pop.

Texture, texture and more texture! The overall aesthetic goals for this kitchen were to mix some industrial texture with a little refinement. The smooth painted cabinet finishes set the background for a quartz concrete-like countertop, vintage industrial cement tiles, and tongue and groove ceilings. The kitchen is accented with polished chrome hardware, outlet covers (in the backsplash), and a polished chrome faucet. My favorite piece of this kitchen is the island top - which used to be a table from Pottery Barn!

This butler pantry is positioned between the kitchen and the formal dining. It has enough counter space to be used as a serving counter or a place to mix drinks when hosting guests during holidays & special occasions.
