My concept for this kitchen was to collaborate with my client for this complete home renovation and ensure that the kitchen was the focal point of the open concept home. We strategically worked together to ensure proper wall dimensions, island placement and function, and symmetry to meet the wants and needs of my clients. White perimeter cabinetry helped to achieve a traditional feel for the space, while the gray stained island cabinetry allowed for a lovely transition to make the cozy kitchen work seamlessly with the distressed wide plank farmhouse style floating floor. In order to relieve the stark whiteness of the perimeter, I had suggested using contrast grout for the subway tile and the ultimate choice of cement tiles for the accent backsplash behind the range created a cathartic scene in this modestly stated design. Throw in some owls, books, and some fun pendant lighting and we were smiling through the finish line, together!!! My goal is to ensure that my client's needs are met and that their lives are improved through my designs. I hope you like the images of the new space!

The true success behind this kitchen is the design and the way each detail flows with another. There are five different finishes with five different materials, yet all these elements combine in such harmony that entering the room is like walking into a work of art. Design details were incorporated to bridge the gap between the traditional nature of the building with the more contemporary functionality of a working kitchen. The Sub Zero & Wolf appliances, whilst not only fabulous in purpose, look sensational. The Solid American black walnut worktops of the island remind you of the beautiful natural materials that play a big part in this kitchen. Mesh centrepieces to the shaker doors demonstrate the transition between classic and contemporary.

This kitchen is nothing short of bold sophistication overflowing with playful elegance from gold accents to the glistening crystal chandelier above the island. We took advantage of the large window above the 7’ galley workstation to bring in a great deal of natural light and a beautiful view of the backyard. Between the warm tones of light flooring and the light whites and blues of the cabinetry, the kitchen is well-balanced with a bright and airy atmosphere. In a kitchen full of light and symmetrical elements, on the end of the island we incorporated an asymmetrical focal point finished in a dark slate. This four drawer piece is wrapped in safari brasilica wood that purposefully carries the warmth of the floor up and around the end piece to ground the space further. The wow factor of this kitchen are the geometric glossy gold tiles of the hood creating a glamorous accent against a marble backsplash above the cooktop. This kitchen is not only classically striking but also highly functional. The versatile wall, opposite of the galley workstation, includes an integrated refrigerator, freezer, steam oven, convection oven, two appliance garages, and tall cabinetry for pantry items. The kitchen’s layout of appliances creates a fluid circular flow in the kitchen. Across from the kitchen stands a slate gray wine hutch incorporated into the wall. The doors and drawers have a gilded diamond mesh in the center panels. This mesh ties in the golden accents around the kitchens décor and allows you to have a peek inside the hutch when the interior lights are on for a soft glow creating a beautiful transition into the living room. A chic Parisian kitchen with a built in bench and bistro set up. Glamorous marble backsplash was paired with modern materials like quartz countertops and high gloss white cabinetry. Traditional aspects of this home like the carved ceiling molding, 100+ year old wood flooring (stained grey) and wainscoting makes this the perfect balance of modern/classic design.

4-time clients! This fun and funky kitchen remodel was designed using the original kitchen island and footprint while the rest of the kitchen was updated. The fridge was moved, and new upper and lower cabinets were designed for the space. The white-built-in unit sits in the original dining nook location which was under-utilized since we designed and built the hybrid timber sunroom years ago. Using the client's own style preferences as inspiration, we incorporated graphic motifs, colourful accents, and back circle themes throughout the space. An eclectic style kitchen which exhibits an elegant and airy feel. Striking blues and geometric patterns give the space unique character.
