A bespoke folded metal staircase sweeps up a rich inchyra blue stairwell. The staircase is lit by a strip of LED lighting that is hidden beneath a bespoke charcoal black handrail. Vintage mid-century cocktail chairs have been reupholstered in a bold and brightly patterned Timorous Beasties fabric. A mix of contemporary ceramics and photography fills the walls creating an inviting vignette when people walk through the door.

Diana Wiesner of Lampert Lumber in Chetek, WI worked with her client and Dura Supreme to create this custom teal blue paint color for their new kitchen. They wanted a contemporary cottage styled kitchen with blue cabinets to contrast their love of blue, red, and yellow. The homeowners can now come home to a stunning teal (aqua) blue kitchen that grabs center stage in this contemporary home with cottage details. Bria Cabinetry by Dura Supreme with an affordable Personal Paint Match finish to "Calypso" SW 6950 in the Craftsman Beaded Panel door style. This kitchen was featured in HGTV Magazine summer of 2014 in the Kitchen Chronicles. Here's a quote from the designer's interview that was featured in the issue. "Every time you enter this kitchen, it's like walking into a Caribbean vacation. It's upbeat and tropical, and it can be paired with equally vivid reds and greens. I was worried the homeowners might get blue fatigue, and it's definitely a gutsy choice for a rural Wisconsin home. The entry of this home is the perfect transition from the bright tangerine exterior. The turquoise front door opens up to a small colorful living room and a long hallway featuring reclaimed shiplap recovered from other rooms in the house. The 14 foot multi-color runner provides a preview of all the bright color pops featured in the rest of the home.

Newly relocated from Nashville, TN, this couple’s high-rise condo was completely renovated and furnished by our team with a central focus around their extensive art collection. Color and style were deeply influenced by the few pieces of furniture brought with them and we had a ball designing to bring out the best in those items. Classic finishes were chosen for kitchen and bathrooms, which will endure the test of time, while bolder, “personality” choices were made in other areas, such as the powder bath, guest bedroom, and study. Overall, this home boasts elegance and charm, reflecting the homeowners perfectly. Goal achieved: a place where they can live comfortably and enjoy entertaining their friends often!
