The existing laundry was converted into a laundry/butlers pantry. The pantry storage has been finished in 25mm gloss white melamine and features the same recessed strip handles as the kitchen. Spaces are allocated for the storage of wine and large platters.

When we started this project, opening up the kitchen to the surrounding space was not an option. Instead, the 10-foot ceilings gave us an opportunity to create a glamorous room with all of the amenities of an open floor plan. The beautiful sunny breakfast nook and adjacent formal dining offer plenty of seats for family and guests in this modern home. Our clients, none the less, love to sit at their new island for breakfast, keeping each other company while cooking, reading a new recipe or simply taking a well-deserved coffee break. The gorgeous custom cabinetry is a combination of horizontal grain walnut base and tall cabinets with glossy white upper cabinets that create an open feeling all the way up the walls. Caesarstone countertops and backsplash join together for a nearly seamless transition. The Subzero and Thermador appliances match the quality of the home and the cooks themselves! Stunning basement cellar in the heart of Southsea, Hampshire. Beautiful use of the space underground and still capturing the courtyard garden within easy access of the kitchen and snug area. Remarkable that we are underground but the light still pours in from the open space outside. Perfect marriage of basement/cellar living, linked to outdoor life. Everything revolves around the 3.9m long island which allows you to cook and serve your guest and still be social, rather than cut off form the party. The island has vast storage on both sides of the island and includes, a pull-out bins system, drawers, wine cooler and enough seating for 6 people or just a romantic meal for two.

View of the existing kitchen from next to the existing peninsula prior to construction. The existing dishwasher and sink locations were kept so no plumbing was needed to be relocated in the concrete slab. All above counter outlets were relocated to be installed using electrical plug mold strips. The outlet at the bar height seating shown was relocated to be a pop-up outlet within the countertop. The disposal switch was relocated to inside the sink cabinet for a cleaner look. The existing trash was relocated to be within the new sink base cabinet. A light rail was added below the new upper cabinets to hide the undercabinet lights that are seen in this picture. The upper cabinets were also redesigned to extend further towards the end wall for added storage.

This contemporary kitchen utilizes white and walnut to convey a sense of cleanliness and modernity to this inviting kitchen. Cabinetry with minimalistic design and wood accents help visually separate the space. A custom raised countertop with an eating area is perfect for a quick or informal meal. Custom pendant lights hang from the ceiling, bringing the walnut theme together. The large sliding exterior doors allow not only cool breezes and easy outdoor access during the summer, but also views into the beautiful and bright yard.

For this vacation home, a complete gut job was needed in order to fit the lifestyle and needs of this young family of four and their guests. The narrow floor plan created unique challenges, but we maximized its full potential. The result was a warm but modern design with plenty of storage and seating. One of the biggest challenges was making sure everyone had a place to sit in the kitchen. The space between the kitchen and staircase was limiting, but with sleek modern chairs that tuck away, we were able to allow for traffic patterns and seat all of the children. To accommodate any vacation extras, an extra wide space near the kitchen and bathroom was transformed into additional shelving. We installed floor-to-ceiling cabinets that offer plenty of space for everyone’s belongings. A clean design was a must, so we opted for a more modern look. We used Benjamin Moore's "Simply White" as the foundation, putting it on the walls and cabinets, and coordinating the countertops and backsplash. To make the home more welcoming, we used natural wood on the island and floating shelves. The wood was coordinated with the floor, creating a cohesive interior. Location: Bethesda, MD, USA We completely revamped the kitchen and breakfast areas and gave these spaces more natural light. They wanted a place that is both aesthetic and practical and we achieved this by having space for sitting in the breakfast space and the peninsulas on both sides of the kitchen, not to mention there is extra sitting space along the bay window with extra storage.
