everything you could ever think of or need is in this kitchen - and in some cases there is more than one (like the large stainless steel apron sinks and dishwashers). Our favorite design element is the quartzite countertop.

The kitchen has shades of dark grey, charcoal for its countertops, kithchen island, and cabinets. The charcoal glass backsplash completes the dark look. Equipments, devices and food products are ingeniously hidden behind the charcoal lacquered panels. All the appliances are integrated and the fridge is panel-ready. This prefabricated 1,800 square foot Certified Passive House is designed and built by The Artisans Group, located in the rugged central highlands of Shaw Island, in the San Juan Islands. It is the first Certified Passive House in the San Juans, and the fourth in Washington State. The home was built for $330 per square foot, while construction costs for residential projects in the San Juan market often exceed $600 per square foot. Passive House measures did not increase this projects’ cost of construction. The clients are retired teachers, and desired a low-maintenance, cost-effective, energy-efficient house in which they could age in place; a restful shelter from clutter, stress and over-stimulation. The circular floor plan centers on the prefabricated pod. Radiating from the pod, cabinetry and a minimum of walls defines functions, with a series of sliding and concealable doors providing flexible privacy to the peripheral spaces. The interior palette consists of wind fallen light maple floors, locally made FSC certified cabinets, stainless steel hardware and neutral tiles in black, gray and white. The exterior materials are painted concrete fiberboard lap siding, Ipe wood slats and galvanized metal. The home sits in stunning contrast to its natural environment with no formal landscaping. Here we have a contemporary residence we designed in the Bellevue area. Some areas we hope you give attention to; floating vanities in the bathrooms along with flat panel cabinets, dark hardwood beams (giving you a loft feel) outdoor fireplace encased in cultured stone and an open tread stair system with a wrought iron detail. With a coveted location and great open floor plan, this couple wanted to rework and update the space to match their style while blending the new finishes with existing trim and mill work. The owners of this waterfront condo were looking for a way to personalize and update their kitchen and add a wine bar! We updated the kitchen with new counters and a tile back splash and installed a custom built in wine bar in a complementary color to the kitchen. They selected Cambria's Ironsbridge for their counter and it is absolutely gorgeous! We installed a Kraus undermount Stainless Steel sink with a lowered divider and a Grohe Bridgeford faucet.
