This full width rear extension was designed to frame key views down the garden for a family that love being outdoors. In addition the brief was to create a series of indoor/ outdoor spaces that would allow the clients to make full use of the garden throughout the year.

Framed by rustic fieldstone and modern black windows, the main living space, a walk-out balcony, and a wing of three guest suites all overlook the lake at our Modern Northwoods Cabin. An outdoor kitchen, green roof, private guest suite patios, and a bocce ball court (behind the fieldstone wall) are just some of the unexpected luxuries of this modern lodge.

Like you might expect from a luxury summer camp, there are places to gather and come together, as well as features that are all about play, sports, outdoor fun. An outdoor bocce ball court, sheltered by a fieldstone wall of the main home, creates a private space for family games.

Striking and sophisticated, bold and exciting, and streets ahead in its quality and cutting edge design – Ullapool Road is a showcase of contemporary cool and classic function, and is perfectly at home in a modern urban setting. Ullapool Road brings an exciting and bold new look to the Atrium Homes collection. It is evident from the street front this is something different. The timber-lined ceiling has a distinctive stacked stone wall that continues inside to the impressive foyer, where the glass and stainless steel staircase takes off from its marble base to the upper floor. The quality of this home is evident at every turn – American Black Walnut is used extensively; 35-course ceilings are recessed and trough-lit; 2.4m high doorways create height and volume; and the stunning feature tiling in the bathrooms adds to the overall sense of style and sophistication. Deceptively spacious for its modern, narrow lot design, Ullapool Road is also a masterpiece of design. This lovely, contemporary lakeside home underwent a major renovation that also involved a two-story addition. Every room’s design takes full advantage of the stunning lake view. Second-floor changes include all new flooring from Urban Floor, a workout room with sauna, lounge, and a balcony with an iron spiral staircase descending to the first-floor patio. The exterior transformation includes stained cedar siding offset with natural stone cladding, a metal roof, and a wrought iron entry door my Monarch.
