A new treatment for the front boundary wall marks the beginning of an itinerary through the house punctuated by a sequence of interventions that albeit modest, have an impact greater than their scope.
The pairing of corten steel and teak slats is used for the design of the bespoke bike storage incorporating the entrance gate and bespoke planters to revive the monotonous streetscape.

When designing this home, we wanted to create an entertainers dream. The home is located in the heart of Rancho Mirage which attracts people from all over the world. This home sits on an acre and is on a private golf course. This view shows the grand circular driveway entrance which is surrounded by an enormous fountain, a central water feature with basalt columns and a glass bridge that leads to the front door. It is ultimately private, has 7 bedrooms, eight baths, and 360 degree views.
We worked with an internationally renowned architect to design the home, selected all the interior and exterior hard surfaces, and furnished the interior.

Bold and stylish, this impressive facade appeals to so many for its striking character. An open floor plan enhances the spaciousness in the common areas along with a two story living room ceiling that provides tons of natural light and views into the loft. Two exceptional master suites comprised of large bedrooms, covered balcony's, 4-piece master baths, and walk-in closets, provide flexibility.

This residence sits atop a precipice with views to the metropolitan Denver valley to the east and the iconic Flatiron peaks to the west. The two sides of this linear scheme respond independently to the site conditions. The east has a high band of glass for morning light infiltration, with a thick zone of storage below. Dividing the storage areas, a rhythm of intermittent windows provide views to the entry court and distant city. On the opposite side, full height sliding glass panels extend the length of the house embracing the best views. After entering through the solid east wall, the amazing mountain peaks are revealed.
For this residence, simplicity and restraint are the innovation. Materials are limited to wood structure and ceilings, concrete floors, and oxidized steel cladding. The roof extension provides sun shading for the west facing glass and shelter for the end terrace. The house’s modest form and palate of materials place it unpretentiously within its surroundings, allowing the natural environment to carry the day.

This California modern exterior was designed with a mixture of both vertical and horizontal cedar siding. The darker stained horizontal cedar near the windows adds height and adds to the linear design of the home. The commercial grade windows show their scale from the exterior.
