This 1899 cottage, built in the Denver Country Club neighborhood, was the victim of many extensive remodels over the decades. Our renovation carried the mid-century character throughout the home. The living spaces now flow out to a glass hallway that surrounds the courtyard. A reconfigured master suite and new kitchen addition act as bookends to either side of this magnificent secret garden. Haus R wurde als quadratischer Wohnkörper konzipert, welcher sich zur Erschließungsseite differenziert. Mit seinen großzügigen Wohnbereichen öffnet sich das ebenerdige Gebäude zu den rückwärtigen Freiflächen und fließt in den weitläufigen Außenraum. Eine gestaltprägende Holzverschalung im Außenbereich, akzentuierte Materialien im Innenraum, sowie die Kombination mit großformatigen Verglasungen setzen das Gebäude bewußt in Szene.

An entry way also known as a foyer is an important but often over looked part of a home. When done right a foyer can elude an immediate breath taking moment for guests as they walk in, introducing them to extravagance of the home.
