Client wanted this Villa to with a certain budget. Having that in mind, the design phase got re-modified 3 times in order to meet the client’s expectations/needs. The best choice that was achieved was Mexican due to: • Very good interior concepts • Very selective material • Not expensive material i.e ceramic floors, rough finishes on the walls. Another condition/ challenge was to create the master bedroom on the ground floor. The ground floor was designed with arches and terraces to give space for privacy and warmth. The value of the house lies in the actual design rather than the material itself.

Welcome to Sand Dollar, a grand five bedroom, five and a half bathroom family home the wonderful beachfront, marina based community of Palm Cay. On a double lot, the main house, pool, pool house, guest cottage with three car garage make an impressive homestead, perfect for a large family. We anchored the lounge area with a large cow hide. In the media niche, we built a floating modern console on a backdrop of a green painted accent wall.

This summer house had its original layout and design when it was first brought. None of the initial elements were of value to the client, except of the exterior part of the house. When going through the redesign and execution process, the entire interior was destroyed, thus resulting in having 5 rooms (each with a bathroom), open and closed kitchen, living room, and reception area. Since it’s a summer house, there has a be a pool, so a long pool was build parallel to the house, with big open terraces that give a clear view of the Sea, which is directly in front of it. The main challenge was that due to its prime location, the material that was used had to be made up of smooth stones, to withstand the weather.

Flush mounted fireplace adds great ambiance to this sitting area. Tucked around the corrner is a small desk utilizing the natural light of the outdoors. Roller blinds that adjust both ways allow for privacy.
