Dining room looking through front entry and down into bedroom hallway. Very few pieces of loose furniture or rugs are required due to the integrated nature of the architecture and interior design. The pieces that are needed are select and spectacular, mixing incredibly special European designer items with beautifully crafted, locally designed and made pieces.

The homeowners wish-list when searching for properties in the Geneva Lake area included: low-maintenance, incredible lake views, a pier but also a house that needed a lot of work because they were searching for a true project. After months of designing and planning, a bright and open design of the great room was created to maximize the room’s incredible view of Geneva Lake. Nautical touches can be found throughout the home, including the rope detailing on the overhead light fixture, in the coffee table accessories and the child-sized replica wooden boat. The crisp, clean kitchen has thoughtful design details, like the vintage look faucet and a mosaic outline of Geneva Lake in the back splash. I love a client that has my taste in décor. Making this client a dream to work with. First things started with the kitchen layout which was horrendous, then gradually we worked our way though to baths rooms. After that the flooring and paint colors gave this coastal wonder the shine it deserves.

Extraordinary Pass-A-Grille Beach Cottage! This was the original Pass-A-Grill Schoolhouse from 1912-1915! This cottage has been completely renovated from the floor up, and the 2nd story was added. It is on the historical register. Flooring for the first level common area is Antique River-Recovered® Heart Pine Vertical, Select, and Character. Goodwin's Antique River-Recovered® Heart Pine was used for the stair treads and trim.
