Reconfiguration of a dilapidated bathroom and separate toilet in a Victorian house in Walthamstow village. The original toilet was situated straight off of the landing space and lacked any privacy as it opened onto the landing. The original bathroom was separate from the WC with the entrance at the end of the landing. To get to the rear bedroom meant passing through the bathroom which was not ideal. The layout was reconfigured to create a family bathroom which incorporated a walk-in shower where the original toilet had been and freestanding bath under a large sash window. The new bathroom is slightly slimmer than the original this is to create a short corridor leading to the rear bedroom. The ceiling was removed and the joists exposed to create the feeling of a larger space. A rooflight sits above the walk-in shower and the room is flooded with natural daylight. Hanging plants are hung from the exposed beams bringing nature and a feeling of calm tranquility into the space.

I used a patterned tile on the floor, warm wood on the vanity, and dark molding on the walls to give this small bathroom a ton of character.

This home was a blend of modern and traditional, mixed finishes, classic subway tiles, and ceramic light fixtures. The kitchen was kept bright and airy with high-end appliances for the avid cook and homeschooling mother. As an animal loving family and owner of two furry creatures, we added a little whimsy with cat wallpaper in their laundry room.

Classic white tile was used in this walk in shower. An oversized subway tile was brick stacked on the shower wall and a white penny tile was used on the floor and on the back of the shampoo shelves. A black framed glass wall and door was used to add some character.

Ready for a less traditional look, the owners requested a twist on the classic black and white bath. By using porcelain encaustic tile, the floor becomes a high impact feature of the space. The shower was enlarged and features dual heads and tumbled subway tile with an organic edge and a Kerdi shower pan. After renovating their neutrally styled master bath Gardner/Fox helped their clients create this farmhouse-inspired master bathroom, with subtle modern undertones. The original room was dominated by a seldom-used soaking tub and shower stall. Now, the master bathroom includes a glass-enclosed shower, custom walnut double vanity, make-up vanity, linen storage, and a private toilet room.

This contemporary bathroom combines modern style & technology with a bold charge of color to create a perfect urban chic expression. The shower design features impressive large format, marble look tile with a glass mosaic accent which creates an eye catching focal point. The handcrafted custom vanity has an abundance of storage with adjustable shelving and pull outs with a hair appliance drawer. Finished with Forza quartz countertops & brushed nickel fixtures, the vanity emanates the shower design reflecting the modern style throughout the room

The master bathroom features a custom flat panel vanity with Caesarstone countertop, onyx look porcelain wall tiles, patterned cement floor tiles and a metallic look accent tile around the mirror, over the toilet and on the shampoo niche.

Facelift to this bathroom included removal of an internal wall that was dividing the vanity area from the toilet \ shower area. A huge shower was constructed instead (4.5' by 6.5') the vanity was slightly moved to allow enough space for a wall mounted toilet to be constructed. 1920's hand painted concrete tiles were used for the floor to give the contrast to the modern look of the toilet and shower, black hexagon tiles for the shower pan and the interior of the shampoo niche and large white subway tiles for the shower wall. The bench and the base of the niche are done with a 1 piece of Quartz material for a sleek and clean look. The vanity is a furniture style with storage underneath and Carrera marble on top. All the plumbing fixtures are by Kohler with a vibrant modern gold finish.

Le projet Croix des Gardes consistait à rafraîchir un pied-à-terre à Cannes, avec comme maîtres mots : minimalisme, luminosité et modernité. Ce 2 pièces sur les hauteurs de Cannes avait séduit les clients par sa vue à couper le souffle sur la baie de Cannes, et sa grande chambre qui en faisait l'appartement de vacances idéal. Cependant, la cuisine et la salle de bain manquaient d'ergonomie, de confort et de clarté. La partie salle de bain était auparavant une pièce très chargée : plusieurs revêtements muraux avec des motifs et des couleurs différentes, papier peint fleuri au plafond, un grand placard face à la porte... La salle de bain est maintenant totalement transformée, comme agrandie ! Le grand placard à laissé la place à un meuble vasque, avec des rangements et un lave linge tandis que la baignoire a été remplacée par un grand bac à douche extra-plat. Le sol et la faïence ont été remplacés par un carrelage effet bois blanchi et texturé, créant une pièce aux tons apaisants.

Our clients wanted the ultimate modern farmhouse custom dream home. They found property in the Santa Rosa Valley with an existing house on 3 ½ acres. They could envision a new home with a pool, a barn, and a place to raise horses. JRP and the clients went all in, sparing no expense. Thus, the old house was demolished and the couple’s dream home began to come to fruition. The result is a simple, contemporary layout with ample light thanks to the open floor plan. When it comes to a modern farmhouse aesthetic, it’s all about neutral hues, wood accents, and furniture with clean lines. Every room is thoughtfully crafted with its own personality. Yet still reflects a bit of that farmhouse charm. Their considerable-sized kitchen is a union of rustic warmth and industrial simplicity. The all-white shaker cabinetry and subway backsplash light up the room. All white everything complimented by warm wood flooring and matte black fixtures. The stunning custom Raw Urth reclaimed steel hood is also a star focal point in this gorgeous space. Not to mention the wet bar area with its unique open shelves above not one, but two integrated wine chillers. It’s also thoughtfully positioned next to the large pantry with a farmhouse style staple: a sliding barn door. The master bathroom is relaxation at its finest. Monochromatic colors and a pop of pattern on the floor lend a fashionable look to this private retreat. Matte black finishes stand out against a stark white backsplash, complement charcoal veins in the marble looking countertop, and is cohesive with the entire look. The renovated guest bathroom features an apron bathtub with custom shower doors, subway tile walls in "Ombre white" and a star pattern cement tile on the floors, matching the shampoo niche. A navy blue vanity with brass fixtures completes the unique and modern look.
