This is a view to the Powder/Toilet Room from our Master Suite Reconfiguration Project in Tribeca. We worked directly with Susan Harter Muralpapers to create the custom color for the feature wallcovering. We also designed custom cabinetry - which our GC (LW Construction) expertly fabricated - to maximize every square inch of storage space. Embellished Shaker Panels received white and black lacquer paint along with a matching Neolith Estatuario Countertop. A centered 'Princeton' sconce from Schoolhouse Electric further enlivens the space.

Three apartments were combined to create this 7 room home in Manhattan's West Village for a young couple and their three small girls. A kids' wing boasts a colorful playroom, a butterfly-themed bedroom, and a bath. The parents' wing includes a home office for two (which also doubles as a guest room), two walk-in closets, a master bedroom & bath. A family room leads to a gracious living/dining room for formal entertaining. A large eat-in kitchen and laundry room complete the space. This victorian bathroom benefits from lots of light and no overlookers which the clients love. This meant that we could be a little bolder and darker with the colour whilst still allowing a nice bright space to enjoy a soak or a spacious shower. This vanity unit was custom designed and made for the space and the patterned tiles add a touch of character needed for such a large area.

Our homeowners wanted a master bathroom remodel that would allow them to continue to age in place. They had no intention of leaving their Hermosa Beach bungalow. Aging in place was a central focus of the design. Starting with the wall mounted toilet which was selected for ease of cleaning. The double walk in shower features grab bars and glass hinged doors. Unique to this double shower is that each homeowner selected their preferred shower head and valve to be used; They are not even the same brands! This was one of the ways that the remodel was personalized to the homeowners to meet each of their needs. Since there was no room for a swinging door a barn door ended up to be a stylish resolution. Frosted glass gives the homeowners some privacy but still allows for light. They wanted cabinetry with a rustic feel. The finished project offers the homeowners a shaker style door which slides open. We also included a stacked linen closet for additional storage. The bathroom features marble wainscoting which continues into the shower. The border tile, in a simple stacked stone, continues onto the backsplash to tie the whole room together.

This area used to be a mud room with a back door. The client wanted a second ensuite with a separate bathroom area. New double vanity with full height back splash. Recessed medicine cabinets. New lighting throughout. New walk in shower with Euro glass shower doors. Two shampoo niches. Quartz counter tops. Walk in closet. Toilet area has a new Toto toilet with Washlet. Separate closet for the laundry room.
