Clawfoot tub by Waterworks in an elegant master bathroom in a major remodel of a traditional Palo Alto home. This freestanding tub was painted a custom color on site. Notice the decorative tile border on the wainscot. A ledge allows room for a sculpture. There is both recessed lighting and surface-mounted lighting as the custom vanity made of cherry wood has shaded wall sconces.

Our client on this project requested a spa-like feel where they could rejuvenate after a hard day at work. The big change that made all the difference was removing the walled-off shower. This change greatly opened up the space, although in removing the wall we had to reroute electrical and plumbing lines. The work was well worth the effect. By installing a freestanding tub in the corner, we further opened up the space. The accenting tiles behind the tub and in the shower, very nicely connected the space. Plus, the shower floor is a natural pebble stone that lightly massages your feet. The His and Her vanities were truly customized to their specific needs. For example, we built plenty of storage on the Her side for her personal needs. The cabinets were custom built including hand mixing the paint color. The Taj Mahal countertops and marble shower along with the polished nickel fixtures provide a luxurious and elegant feel. This was a fun project that rejuvenated our client's bathroom and is now allowing them to rejuvenate after a long day.

La salle de bain est en deux parties. Une partie douche derrière le placard central, une partie baignoire face au meuble vasque suspendu. Celui ci est très fonctionnel avec ses vasques semi encastrées et son plan vasque sur lequel on peut poser des éléments. Le coin salle de bain est délimité par une verrière qui apporte du cachet. Cet aménagement permet de bénéficier d'une grande baignoire ainsi que d'une grande douche.

This space was created as a master bath for this client and was part of a larger master suite and dance studio addition. Textured tile makes a perfect transition between the shower wall tile, porcelain plank flooring, and shower floor in this soothing space. Brushed nickel hardware and fixtures also serve to tie the space together. Blue glass mosaic tile echoes the backsplash above the vanity. With home prices rising and residential lots getting smaller, this Encinitas couple decided to stay in place and add on to their beloved home and neighborhood. Retired, but very active, they planned for the golden years while having fun along the way. This Master Suite now fosters their passion for dancing as a studio for practice and dance parties. With every detail meticulously designed and perfected, their new indoor/outdoor space is the highlight of their home. "We found Kerry at TaylorPro early on in our decision process. He was the only contractor to give us a detailed budgetary bid for are original vision of our addition. This level of detail was ultimately the decision factor for us to go with TaylorPro.
