The Holloway blends the recent revival of mid-century aesthetics with the timelessness of a country farmhouse. Each façade features playfully arranged windows tucked under steeply pitched gables. Natural wood lapped siding emphasizes this homes more modern elements, while classic white board & batten covers the core of this house. A rustic stone water table wraps around the base and contours down into the rear view-out terrace. Inside, a wide hallway connects the foyer to the den and living spaces through smooth case-less openings. Featuring a grey stone fireplace, tall windows, and vaulted wood ceiling, the living room bridges between the kitchen and den. The kitchen picks up some mid-century through the use of flat-faced upper and lower cabinets with chrome pulls. Richly toned wood chairs and table cap off the dining room, which is surrounded by windows on three sides. The grand staircase, to the left, is viewable from the outside through a set of giant casement windows on the upper landing. A spacious master suite is situated off of this upper landing. Featuring separate closets, a tiled bath with tub and shower, this suite has a perfect view out to the rear yard through the bedroom's rear windows. All the way upstairs, and to the right of the staircase, is four separate bedrooms. Downstairs, under the master suite, is a gymnasium. This gymnasium is connected to the outdoors through an overhead door and is perfect for athletic activities or storing a boat during cold months. To enlarge the master bathroom, we needed to use the closet space on the other side of the adjoining wall. Since the master bedroom and garage shared the same exterior wall, we were able to push out a portion of the block wall to create a large walk-in closet with built-ins. At the same time, we also created a dividing wall in the garage that separated the laundry area. With the new square footage, the master bath was large enough to accommodate a luxurious Kohler “Tea for Two” whirlpool tub and walk-in shower. The Crystal Encore vanity cabinets featured a Tahoe door style in a Cotton White matte finish that was topped with MSI’s Calacutta Clara, a classic Italian marble-looking quartz featuring a milky-white backdrop and gorgeous long linear veining. This countertop was specifically chosen to match the Lotus Statuarro Michelangelo polished porcelain slabs that decorated the walls and were book-matched for flawless symmetry. To complement the grey and white tones in the master bath, the shower and main floors were tiled in honed Thassos and Cinderella marble in a herringbone pattern. Kohler Purist plumbing fixtures in polished chrome complete the look.

A master bathroom is often a place of peace and solitude, made even richer with luxurious accents. This homeowner was hoping for a serene, spa like atmosphere with modern amenities. Dipped in gold, this bathroom embodies the definition of luxury. From the oversized shower enclosure, to the oval freestanding soaking tub and private restroom facility, this bathroom incorporates it all. The floor to ceiling white marble tile with gold veins is paired perfectly with a bronze mosaic feature wall behind the his and her vanity areas. The custom free-floating cabinetry continues from the vanities to a large make-up area featuring the same white marble countertops throughout. A touch of gold is seamlessly tied into the design to create sophisticated accents throughout the space. From the gold crystal chandelier, vibrant gold fixtures and cabinet hardware, and the simple gold mirrors, the accents help bring the vision to life and tie in the esthetics of the concept. This stunning white bathroom boasts of luxury and exceeded the homeowner’s expectations. It even included an automatic motorized drop-down television located in the ceiling, allowing the homeowner to relax and unwind after a long day, catching their favorite program.
