Our clients wanted a REAL master bathroom with enough space for both of them to be in there at the same time. Their house, built in the 1940’s, still had plenty of the original charm, but also had plenty of its original tiny spaces that just aren’t very functional for modern life. The original bathroom had a tiny stall shower, and just a single vanity with very limited storage and counter space. Not to mention kitschy pink subway tile on every wall. With some creative reconfiguring, we were able to reclaim about 25 square feet of space from the bedroom. Which gave us the space we needed to introduce a double vanity with plenty of storage, and a HUGE walk-in shower that spans the entire length of the new bathroom! While we knew we needed to stay true to the original character of the house, we also wanted to bring in some modern flair! Pairing strong graphic floor tile with some subtle (and not so subtle) green tones gave us the perfect blend of classic sophistication with a modern glow up. Our clients were thrilled with the look of their new space, and were even happier about how large and open it now feels!

Chicago isn’t known for spacious bathrooms, especially in older areas like Ravenswood. But we’re experts in using every inch of a condo’s limited footprint. Nestled in the Pocono mountains, the house had been on the market for a while, and no one had any interest in it. Then along comes our lovely client, who was ready to put roots down here, leaving Philadelphia, to live closer to her daughter. She had a vision of how to make this older small ranch home, work for her. This included images of baking in a beautiful kitchen, lounging in a calming bedroom, and hosting family and friends, toasting to life and traveling! We took that vision, and working closely with our contractors, carpenters, and product specialists, spent 8 months giving this home new life. This included renovating the entire interior, adding an addition for a new spacious master suite, and making improvements to the exterior. It is now, not only updated and more functional; it is filled with a vibrant mix of country traditional style. We are excited for this new chapter in our client’s life, the memories she will make here, and are thrilled to have been a part of this ranch house Cinderella transformation.

This lovely bathroom remodel was originally a small powder room turned Master Bath. The walls are completely tiled in a lovely dark brown ceramic tile while the lighter tile on the floor offsets the dark walls. The Shower is curbless and has one glass panel for an open shower feel. The towel rack was custom made to facilitate the lack of storage. Lime Green glass counter tops on the vanity and modern fixtures make this bathroom one of a kind.

A small and unwelcoming ensuite was transformed with a full renovation including skylights and full height wall tiles.

Bright, colorful bathroom featuring a green freestanding vanity, a wall mounted toilet and a tub shower combo. Special details include a trough sink for two, a built in shelf niche and a large format white tile wainscot.

To meet the client‘s brief and maintain the character of the house it was decided to retain the existing timber framed windows and VJ timber walling above tiles. The client loves green and yellow, so a patterned floor tile including these colours was selected, with two complimentry subway tiles used for the walls up to the picture rail. The feature green tile used in the back of the shower. A playful bold vinyl wallpaper was installed in the bathroom and above the dado rail in the toilet. The corner back to wall bath, brushed gold tapware and accessories, wall hung custom vanity with Davinci Blanco stone bench top, teardrop clearstone basin, circular mirrored shaving cabinet and antique brass wall sconces finished off the look. The picture rail in the high section was painted in white to match the wall tiles and the above VJ‘s were painted in Dulux Triamble to match the custom vanity 2 pak finish. This colour framed the small room and with the high ceilings softened the space and made it more intimate. The timber window architraves were retained, whereas the architraves around the entry door were painted white to match the wall tiles. The adjacent toilet was changed to an in wall cistern and pan with tiles, wallpaper, accessories and wall sconces to match the bathroom Overall, the design allowed open easy access, modernised the space and delivered the wow factor that the client was seeking.

A second bathroom was upgraded and modernized as a part of this large bonus room addition project

The existing bathroom only had a bathtub. We added a shower, which gave us the opportunity to use this gorgeous, green tile. With a tight budget, we brought in an off-the-shelf floating vanity to save money but finished it off with an upgraded faucet and gorgeous, solid brass hardware. We also brought in marble, penny tile on the floors for a bit of luxury.

Beautiful modern designed hall bathroom. A wonderful black and white mosaic tile that flows throughout the bathroom right into the shower with a zero clearance base. No curb or steps needed, a fixed piece of glass to keep water in but still show the beauty in your tire choice.
