They came to us requesting a more spa like experience and a designer’s eye to create a more refined space. A large steam shower, bench and rain head replaced a dated corner bathtub. In addition, we added heated floors for those cool Chicago months and several storage niches and built-in cabinets to keep extra towels and toiletries out of sight. The use of circles in the tile, cabinetry and new window in the shower give this primary bath the character it was lacking, while lowering and modifying the unevenly vaulted ceiling created symmetry in the space. The end result is a large luxurious spa shower, more storage space and improvements to the overall comfort of the room. A nice upgrade from the existing builder grade space! 123 Remodeling’s design-build team gave this bathroom in Bucktown (Chicago, IL) a facelift by installing new tile, mirrors, light fixtures, and a new countertop. We reused the existing vanity, shower fixtures, faucets, and toilet that were all in good condition. We incorporated a beautiful blue blended tile as an accent wall to pop against the rest of the neutral tiles. Lastly, we added a shower bench and a sliding glass shower door giving this client the coastal bathroom of their dreams.

This stunning Gainesville bathroom design is a spa style retreat with a large vanity, freestanding tub, and spacious open shower. The Shiloh Cabinetry vanity with a Windsor door style in a Stonehenge finish on Alder gives the space a warm, luxurious feel, accessorized with Top Knobs honey bronze finish hardware. The large L-shaped vanity space has ample storage including tower cabinets with a make up vanity in the center. Large beveled framed mirrors to match the vanity fit neatly between each tower cabinet and Savoy House light fixtures are a practical addition that also enhances the style of the space. An engineered quartz countertop, plus Kohler Archer sinks and Kohler Purist faucets complete the vanity area. A gorgeous Strom freestanding tub add an architectural appeal to the room, paired with a Kohler bath faucet, and set against the backdrop of a Stone Impressions Lotus Shadow Thassos Marble tiled accent wall with a chandelier overhead. Adjacent to the tub is the spacious open shower style featuring Soci 3x12 textured white tile, gold finish Kohler showerheads, and recessed storage niches. A large, arched window offers natural light to the space, and towel hooks plus a radiator towel warmer sit just outside the shower. A beautifully remodeled primary bathroom ensuite inspired by the homeowner’s European travels. This spacious bathroom was dated and had a cold cave like shower. The homeowner desired a beautiful space with a European feel, like the ones she discovered on her travels to Europe. She also wanted a privacy door separating the bathroom from her bedroom. The designer opened up the closed off shower by removing the soffit and dark cabinet next to the shower to add glass and let light in. Now the entire room is bright and airy with marble look porcelain tile throughout. The archway was added to frame in the under-mount tub. The double vanity in a soft gray paint and topped with Corian Quartz compliments the marble tile. The new chandelier along with the chrome fixtures add just the right amount of luxury to the room. Now when you come in from the bedroom you are enticed to come in and stay a while in this beautiful space.

A stunning minimal primary bathroom features marble herringbone shower tiles, hexagon mosaic floor tiles, and niche. We removed the bathtub to make the shower area larger. Also features a modern floating toilet, floating quartz shower bench, and custom white oak shaker vanity with a stacked quartz countertop. It feels perfectly curated with a mix of matte black and brass metals. The simplicity of the bathroom is balanced out with the patterned marble floors.

We turned this master bathroom into an updated bathroom that looks like it was from a magazine. It has a corner shower with white ceramic herringbone tiles, a precise hexagon floor, and wood encasing. The shower also has a new shower head and a tall glass encasing. To spotlight the owners’ worldly decor, this remodel quietly complements the furniture and art textures, colors, and patterns abundant in this beautiful home. The original master bath had a 1980s style in dire need of change. By stealing an adjacent bedroom for the new master closet, the bath transformed into an artistic and spacious space. The jet-black herringbone-patterned floor adds visual interest to highlight the freestanding soaking tub. Schoolhouse-style shell white sconces flank the matching his and her vanities. The new generous master shower features polished nickel dual shower heads and hand shower and is wrapped in Bedrosian Porcelain Manifica Series in Luxe White with satin finish. The kitchen started as dated and isolated. To add flow and more natural light, the wall between the bar and the kitchen was removed, along with exterior windows, which allowed for a complete redesign. The result is a streamlined, open, and light-filled kitchen that flows into the adjacent family room and bar areas – perfect for quiet family nights or entertaining with friends. Crystal Cabinets in white matte sheen with satin brass pulls, and the white matte ceramic backsplash provides a sleek and neutral palette. The newly-designed island features Calacutta Royal Leather Finish quartz and Kohler sink and fixtures. The island cabinets are finished in black sheen to anchor this seating and prep area, featuring round brass pendant fixtures. One end of the island provides the perfect prep and cut area with maple finish butcher block to match the stove hood accents. French White Oak flooring warms the entire area. The Miele 48” Dual Fuel Range with Griddle offers the perfect features for simple or gourmet meal preparation. A new dining nook makes for picture-perfect seating for night or day dining. Lisa Rossman, co-owner of Huntington Beach design firm LL Design Co, reached out to us right after our launch in March 2020. She needed tile options for her client—a local homeowner embarking on an ambitious, complete master suite remodel. We were delighted to connect with Rossman and rushed to send over a few of our favorite samples, so her client had some chic and sustainable tiles to choose from. Her client went back and forth on which tile sample to select, but eventually landed on the stylish STELLA 5-Flower tile in the colorway Fog on our recycled 12x12 Polar Ice Terrazzo. One of the added benefits of this tile—and all LIVDEN tiles for that matter—is its tile body type.
