The shower was already a good size and had two showerheads. So, we incorporated a mix of tiles in the bathroom to add personality to the space. The decorative Ibla tile from Z Collection steals the show. The floral tile on the back wall of the shower mimics the tile behind the tub. A variety of shapes of Shibusa tiles from Arizona Tile were used, with hexagon on the main floor and 2×2 basketweave on the shower floor.

This 1868 Victorian home was transformed to keep the charm of the house but also to bring the bathrooms up to date! We kept the traditional charm and mixed it with some southern charm for this family to enjoy for years to come!

Old World European, Country Cottage. Three separate cottages make up this secluded village over looking a private lake in an old German, English, and French stone villa style. Hand scraped arched trusses, wide width random walnut plank flooring, distressed dark stained raised panel cabinetry, and hand carved moldings make these traditional farmhouse cottage buildings look like they have been here for 100s of years. Newly built of old materials, and old traditional building methods, including arched planked doors, leathered stone counter tops, stone entry, wrought iron straps, and metal beam straps. The Lake House is the first, a Tudor style cottage with a slate roof, 2 bedrooms, view filled living room open to the dining area, all overlooking the lake. The Carriage Home fills in when the kids come home to visit, and holds the garage for the whole idyllic village. This cottage features 2 bedrooms with on suite baths, a large open kitchen, and an warm, comfortable and inviting great room. All overlooking the lake. The third structure is the Wheel House, running a real wonderful old water wheel, and features a private suite upstairs, and a work space downstairs. The color palette flows nicely to the in suite bathroom. The color enhances the richness of the marble tile surrounding the tub and separate shower. The flooring is done in a unique herringbone pattern. A vintage Italian crystal chandelier hangs over a gray tufted pouf.

The master bath addition is exquisite. It is soothing and serene. The tile floor has crush glass inserts. The vaulted ceiling adds height and interest.

The upstairs guest bathroom got refreshed with painted cabinets, new tile floor, plumbing, mirror, lighting, and cabinet hardware. The existing cabinets were painted Downing Straw by Sherwin-Williams (SW 2183) to tie into the safari mural in the adjacent bedroom.

A custom-made towel closet fits perfectly into the bathroom.
