Master Bathroom Renovation. Care was taken to help this bathroom connect into the overall rustic feel of the chalet as well as bring in the unique features that create harmony with the natural mountain location. The existing ensuite lacked functionality, size, and luxury. Manipulating and reassigning space allowed us to change the shape and enhance the amenities of this bathroom, while the entrance through the master closet provides separation and functionality. The new layout gives the spa steam shower a feature location, closes off the toilet for privacy, and makes the stunning double vanity perfect for couples.

The client wanted the master bath to have a spa-like feel to it, with hints of coastal colors. We expanded the small shower enclosure into a large double shower with a bench wall featuring a bamboo-look tile and a pebble stone floor. The shower walls were done in a large 12x24 tile laid in a vertical direction all the way to the ceiling. We carried the pebble stone pattern under the freestanding tub as well, with a free-flowing edge. Over the built in vanity we used the same bamboo-look tile behind a large lighted LED mirror. On the vanity we created a double waterfall edge to finish out the look of the built-in. We added a beautiful Capiz Chandelier to bring in some of the tropical feel that our client wanted. In the toilet room, we added a wainscot with a blue textured wallpaper above to bring in some of that color they wanted as well.

This new home was built on an old lot in Dallas, TX in the Preston Hollow neighborhood. The new home is a little over 5,600 sq.ft. and features an expansive great room and a professional chef’s kitchen. This 100% brick exterior home was built with full-foam encapsulation for maximum energy performance. There is an immaculate courtyard enclosed by a 9' brick wall keeping their spool (spa/pool) private. Electric infrared radiant patio heaters and patio fans and of course a fireplace keep the courtyard comfortable no matter what time of year. A custom king and a half bed was built with steps at the end of the bed, making it easy for their dog Roxy, to get up on the bed. There are electrical outlets in the back of the bathroom drawers and a TV mounted on the wall behind the tub for convenience. The bathroom also has a steam shower with a digital thermostatic valve. The kitchen has two of everything, as it should, being a commercial chef's kitchen! The stainless vent hood, flanked by floating wooden shelves, draws your eyes to the center of this immaculate kitchen full of Bluestar Commercial appliances. There is also a wall oven with a warming drawer, a brick pizza oven, and an indoor churrasco grill. There are two refrigerators, one on either end of the expansive kitchen wall, making everything convenient. There are two islands; one with casual dining bar stools, as well as a built-in dining table and another for prepping food. At the top of the stairs is a good size landing for storage and family photos. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a movie room. What makes this home so special is the Casita! It has its own entrance off the common breezeway to the main house and courtyard. There is a full kitchen, a living area, an ADA compliant full bath, and a comfortable king bedroom. It’s perfect for friends staying the weekend or in-laws staying for a month.

The goal of this master bath transformation was to stay within existing footprint and improve the look, storage and functionality of the master bath. Right Wall: Along the right wall, designers gain footage and enlarge both the shower and water closet by replacing the existing tub and outdated surround with a freestanding Roman soaking tub. They use glass shower walls so natural light can illuminate the formerly dark, enclosed corner shower. From the footage gained from the tub area, designers add a toiletry closet in the water closet. They integrate the room's trim and window's valance to conceal a dropdown privacy shade over the leaded glass window behind the tub. Left Wall: A sink area originally located along the back wall is reconfigured into a symmetrical double-sink vanity along the left wall. Both sink mirrors are flanked by shelves of storage hidden behind tall, slender doors that are configured in the vanity to mimic columns. Back Wall: The back wall unit is built for storage and display, plus it houses a television that intentionally blends into the deep coloration of the millwork. The positioning of the television allows it to be watched from multiple vantage points – even from the shower. An under counter refrigerator is located in the lower left portion of unit. This is a new construction bathroom located in Fallbrook, CA. It was a large space with very high ceilings. We created a sculptural environment, echoing a curved soffit over a curved alcove soaking tub with a curved partition shower wall. The custom wood paneling on the curved wall and vanity wall perfectly balance the lines of the floating vanity and built-in medicine cabinets.

This chic herring bone floor and modern drawer vanity and depth and revitalize this narrow bathroom space. The subway tiles in the walk in tiled shower and the gold plumbing fixtures add to the contemporary feel of the space.
