A clean line square white drop-in tub to finish the stunning shower area. ALL NEW FLOORING, WALL TILE & CABINETS For this updated design, the homeowners choose a Calcutta white for their floor tile. All new paint for walls and cabinets along with new hardware and lighting. Making this remodel a stunning project!

You don't have to own a big celebrity mansion to have a beautifully appointed house finished with unique and special materials. When my clients bought an average condo kitted out with all the average builder-grade things that average builders stuff into spaces like that, they longed to make it theirs. Being collectors of colorful Fiesta tableware and lovers of extravagant stone, we set about infusing the space with a dose of their fun personality. There wasn’t a corner of the house that went untouched in this extensive renovation. The ground floor got a complete make-over with a new Calacatta Gold tile floor, and I designed a very special border of Lunada Bay glass mosaic tiles that outlines the edge of every room. We ripped out a solid walled staircase and replaced it with a visually lighter cable rail system, and a custom hanging chandelier now shines over the living room. The kitchen was redesigned to take advantage of a wall that was previously just shallow pantry storage. By opening it up and installing cabinetry, we doubled the counter space and made the kitchen much more spacious and usable. We also removed a low hanging set of upper cabinets that cut off the kitchen from the rest of the ground floor spaces. Acquarella Fantasy quartzite graces the counter surfaces and continues down in a waterfall feature in order to enjoy as much of this stone’s natural beauty as possible. One of my favorite spaces turned out to be the primary bathroom. The scheme for this room took shape when we were at a slab warehouse shopping for material. We stumbled across a packet of a stunning quartzite called Fusion Wow Dark and immediately fell in love. We snatched up a pair of slabs for the counter as well as the back wall of the shower. My clients were eager to be rid of a tub-shower alcove and create a spacious curbless shower, which meant a full piece of stone on the entire long wall would be stunning. To compliment it, I found a neutral, sandstone-like tile for the return walls of the shower and brought it around the remaining walls of the space, capped with a coordinating chair rail. But my client's love of gold and all things sparkly led us to a wonderful mosaic. Composed of shifting hues of honey and gold, I envisioned the mosaic on the vanity wall and as a backing for the niche in the shower. We chose a dark slate tile to ground the room, and designed a luxurious, glass French door shower enclosure. Little touches like a motion-detected toe kick night light at the vanity, oversized LED mirrors, and ultra-modern plumbing fixtures elevate this previously simple bathroom. And I designed a watery-themed guest bathroom with a deep blue vanity, a large LED mirror, toe kick lights, and customized handmade porcelain tiles illustrating marshland scenes and herons. This Reston Virginia Condo remodel required us to bring every room up to date. We provided the new wood plank laminate flooring with a cork underlayment for maximum comfort and sound absorption. The client requested that we turn the second bedroom into an office space. We lined the wall with semi-custom cabinetry, a new ceiling fan and a built out custom closet to store books and office supplies. The adjacent bathroom shower walls and floors are lined with polished marble floor tile and new chrome plumbing fixtures. The new grey vanity and quartz counters compliment the new grey zigzag accent marble tile. The master bedroom received a full overhaul as well including a custom velvet headboard lined with espresso wood, new nightstands and dresser, 2 new pendant lamps in front of the new espresso wall mirrors. We were sure to incorporate new LED lighting throughout the condo including smart home enabled Wi-Fi controlled lighting.

Marble Bathroom in Worthing, West Sussex A family bathroom and en-suite provide a luxurious relaxing space for local High Salvington, Worthing clients. The Brief This bathroom project in High Salvington, Worthing required a luxurious bathroom theme that could be utilised across a larger family bathroom and a smaller en-suite. The client for this project sought a really on trend design, with multiple personal elements to be incorporated. In addition, lighting improvements were sought to maintain a light theme across both rooms. Design Elements Across the two bathrooms designer Aron was tasked with keeping both space light, but also including luxurious elements. In both spaces white marble tiles have been utilised to help balance natural light, whilst adding a premium feel. In the family bathroom a feature wall with herringbone laid tiles adds another premium element to the space. To include the required storage in the family bathroom, a wall hung unit from British supplier Saneux has been incorporated. This has been chosen in the natural English Oak finish and uses a handleless system for operation of drawers. A podium sink sits on top of the furniture unit with a complimenting white also used. Special Inclusions This client sought a number of special inclusions to tailor the design to their own style. Matt black brassware from supplier Saneux has been used throughout, which teams nicely with the marble tiles and the designer shower screen chosen by this client. Around the bath niche alcoves have been incorporated to provide a place to store essentials and decorations, these have been enhanced with discrete downlighting. Throughout the room lighting enhancements have been made, with wall mounted lights either side of the HiB Xenon mirrored unit, downlights in the ceiling and lighting in niche alcoves. Our expert fitting team have even undertaken the intricate task of tilling this l-shaped bath panel. Project Highlight In addition to the family bathroom, this project involved renovating an existing en-suite. White marble tiles have again been used, working well with the Pewter Grey bathroom unit from British supplier Saneux’s Air range. A Crosswater shower enclosure is used in this room, with niche alcoves again incorporated. A key part of the design in this room was to create a theme with enough natural light and balanced features. The End Result These two bathrooms use a similar theme, providing two wonderful and relaxing spaces to this High Salvington property. The design conjured by Aron keeps both spaces feeling light and opulent, with the theme enhanced by a number of special inclusions for this client. This amazing master bathroom features tile from AKDO and Artistic Tile. Bath hardware and fixtures are by Kohler. Mirrors are custom. Vanity is by Kohler with retrofitted Asian hardware. I wanted to continue a Medieval motif (in keeping with the rest of the home), so I found this unique and extraordinarily beautiful mosaic, to create a central focal wall and a feature wall over the vanity. I also wanted to incorporate round shapes to break up the hard angles of the room, with custom-made mirrors continuing that shape. The end result is a clean and modern space that still feels warm and comfortable but really amps up the modern feel of the space.

In a Brookline home, the upstairs hall bath is renovated to reflect the Parisian inspiration the homeowners loved. A black custom vanity and elegant stone countertop with wall-mounted fixtures is surrounded by mirrors on three walls. Graceful black and white marble tile, wainscoting on the walls, and marble tile in the shower are among the features.
